"It's not what it looks like." I mumbled as I closed my eyes again.

"That's what you said last time, then not long after that the two of you started dating so who knows where this will lead." Tony said with a grin.

"Piss off Tony." I said with a sigh.

Tony laughed before leaving, shutting the door behind him, and as I shifted to get a little more comfy Clint pulled me in closer and wrapped his arms even tighter around me. I tried to get out of his grip but it was like a vice so I just gave up and laid back down next to him. My eyes wandered across his face, the light creases on his forehead where he was frowning in his sleep, his lips parted slightly and his eyes flickered behind his eyelids, god I had missed being close to him.

"Good morning beautiful." He said as he opened his eyes.

I hid my face in my hands and shook my head, he quickly pulled my hands away from my face and lifted my chin so I was looking at him again.

"Don't do that." I mumbled.

"Do what?" He asked, confused.

"Everything you just did." I said, fiddling with the edge of my top.

"Why?" He asked softly as he ran his thumb across my cheek.

"Because I'm supposed to be mad at you and I can't be mad at you when you do stuff like that." I huffed.

The chuckle that escaped his lips was like music to my ears and it made me melt, as much as I told myself I was mad at him I knew it wasn't true. I had been mad at him, but only for a few minutes, then I just wanted to be around him because he spent two weeks away from the tower, plus almost a week before when he disappeared in Rhode Island; three weeks was too much.

"It's not my fault you're beautiful, I'm just stating facts." He said with a shrug, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Stooooop." I whined as I covered my face again.

"Don't cover your face." He said as he gently pulled my hands away from my face.

I let him pull my hands away but I looked down at my hands, avoiding eye contact with him and he put his finger under my chin and tilted it up so I was looking at him. His eyes flickered between my lips and my eyes, I knew what was about to happen but I froze on the spot, I couldn't move. He leant down and closed the gap between us, only then did I realise how much I was craving his kisses. I wrapped my arms around his neck and held him close, I didn't want the moment to end but soon we had to part so we could each catch our breath. Seconds after parting, I couldn't stop myself, I kissed him hungrily; wrapping my arms around his neck and tangling my hands in his hair to hold him close. His hands travelled down and gripped my waist, holding me close as he shifted so that he was hovering above me. When we broke apart, he smiled and his eyes scanned across my face.

"What?" I asked.

"You flipped my entire world upside down when I met you and I'm so thankful because you made my world a better place. Since I met you I haven't had to pretend to be happy or fake a smile, because when I'm with you it just happens; I'm truly happy and I can never wipe the smile off of my face." He said softly.

"You're so cheesy." I said with a grin.

"That's your fault, you make me like this." He said as he ran his thumb across my cheek.

"I love you." I said as I took one of his hands in mine.

He looked a little shocked at first but a smile quickly spread across his face and he pressed a kiss on my forehead.

"I love you too." He said.

I was about to say something when my stomach started making noises and interrupted me, making both of us chuckle.

"Let's go get some breakfast." Clint said.

I followed him out of his room and towards the kitchen where we found the others all sat around the table eating pancakes.

"Why didn't you come get us?" Clint asked.

"I tried, but Abi told me to piss off." Tony said with a shrug.

"What?" Clint asked, turning to me.

"Hey, in my defence he didn't tell me there was pancakes, he just started making stupid comments so I told him to piss off." I said.

"She's not wrong." Tony said, earning a slap on the chest from Pepper.

"I told you to go tell them about the pancakes, you said they were both asleep you liar." Pepper said with a frown.

"Well Clint was asleep, and it looked like Abi was going back to sleep when I left so it was sort of the truth." Tony's said sheepishly.

"Come and eat you two." Pepper instructed.

She eyed us curiously as we walked over and took our seats, it was nice to finally have everyone back together again.

*Time skip 4 days*

It was now Saturday and I was sat in Clint's truck driving to god knows where. Things between us had been getting better, slowly, and last night he told me to pack a bag because we were going away for the weekend. He woke me at 7am, I wasn't the happiest about being woken so early on a Saturday but I planned on napping in the truck on the way to wherever we were headed.

"Can you just tell me where we are going?" I begged.

"No, it's a surprise." He said with a grin.

"You're so annoying." I mumbled.

"But you still love me." Clint said, poking my side.

"You're lucky I do, otherwise I wouldn't be sat in this truck driving to god knows where. I hate surprises." I said with a sigh.

"Trust me, you're going to love this one." He said.

I ended up falling asleep about half an hour into the journey and after a few hours Clint woke me up by softly shaking me.

"Are we there yet?" I asked tiredly.

"Almost, but I need you to put this on." He said, handing me a blindfold.

"I don't think so." I said, shaking my head.

"Please, just trust me, nothing bad is going to happen. I just don't want you to see the surprise before we get there." He said.

I let out a sigh before taking the blindfold and tying it around my head, I was definitely going to get him back for this. He started the engine again and we drove for a few more minutes until he parked the truck.

"Stay there, I'm going to come round and help you out of the truck." He said.

I wanted to peek out of the blindfold to see where we were but I knew Clint would be mad, he didn't want the surprise to be ruined. It was silent for a few seconds then the door beside me opened and he took both my hands in his, helping me out of the truck. He put one of his arms around my waist and guided me towards wherever it was we were going and after walking a few feet he stopped.

"You can take the blindfold off now." He said.
