Two weeks had passed since we had decorated and there was only 10 days until Christmas! I was excited, but I would have been more excited if I wasn't feeling ill. I had been feeling funny for a few days and yesterday morning and this morning I had been sick, but only in the morning and not at all throughout the day. I had been freaking out, I tried to push the thoughts to the back of my head but no matter what I had done, they managed to fight their way back into my head. I had to make myself busy, maybe that would help me to block it out. Slowly, I got up from the bathroom floor where I had been hunched over the toilet and I made my way back into bed next to Clint. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him, pressing a kiss onto my forehead as he opened his eyes slightly.

"Good morning beautiful." He said, making me smile.

"Good morning." I said, pecking his lips.

"Do you want breakfast?" He mumbled against my lips.

"Can we just stay in bed and watch movies for a while?" I asked.

"Of course." He said.

"Home Alone!" I said as I saw it come up on Netflix.

"Okay." He said with a chuckle.

He wrapped his arms around me and we laid like that throughout the whole of the movie, the Home Alone films had always been some of my favourite Christmas movies, along with Elf. As the movie finished, my stomach rumbled and Clint smiled down at me.

"Do you want to go get some breakfast now?" He asked.

"Yeah." I said with a small smile.

We got out of bed and he took my hand in his as we walked towards the kitchen. I leant against the island whilst he started looking around the kitchen.

"What do you want for breakfast?" He asked.

"Just toast will be fine." I said with a small smile, worried anything else might make me throw up again.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

I nodded and he made me some toast whilst he made himself a bowl of cereal, we took a seat at the table and I rested my head on his shoulder as we ate. I had to talk to Bruce later about this, I wasn't sure what was wrong but I needed to make sure it wasn't anything serious.

"You up for doing some training today?" Clint asked me.

"I'll come down there with you but I don't know if I have the energy to do anything today." I said with a yawn.

"Are you feeling alright? You've been sleeping a lot more these last few days, and you look a bit pale. Maybe I should take you down to go and see Bruce, get him to check you over." He said, worry clear in his voice.

"I'm fine, but I'll go see Bruce later if it makes you feel any better." I said.

He nodded and pressed a soft kiss on my lips before we were interrupted by Tony.

"God get a room." He said dramatically.

I just chuckled and shook my head at him, Clint rolled his eyes as Tony walked past us to get himself a cup of coffee.

"Abi are you alright? You look a little bit pale, like you're ill." Tony said.

"I told you." Clint whispered.

"I'm fine, honestly. I appreciate the concern but I promise you both I feel great. It's probably because I haven't left the building in days, I just need a little bit of sunlight." I said with a smile, trying my best to convince them.

It seemed to work because they didn't press the matter anymore and I let out a soft sigh as I cuddled into Clint. Tony walked off and a little while later Jarvis told everyone that Tony wanted us all to meet in the games room. I looked over at Clint with a frown on my face, he just shrugged and we made our way down to the games room where we found Tony with a bunch of nerf guns laid out.

"Really Stark?" Natasha asked.

"We are having a nerf war, right now. Every man, or woman, for themselves and the winner gets to choose their prize." Tony said.

"This should be good." Steve said.

"Where is Bruce?" I asked.

"He's busy in the lab so he couldn't get involved. Everyone take your gun and your vest, you only get one life each so if you're hit then you're out and Jarvis will be watching and announce who is out. I'm going to send everyone off at staggered times, Abi you're first, GO!" He said.

I didn't have to be told twice, I sprinted out and got straight into the elevator, heading down to the lab. I ran in and dived under one of the workbenches at the back where I could see everyone coming in but they couldn't see me. Bruce gave me a weird look but didn't ask any questions thankfully, I didn't need any distractions. After a few minutes Jarvis announced that Thor was out, I looked up to see Natasha walk in.

"Hey Bruce, have you se-" She started but I cut her off when I shot her.

It hit her in the torso and she looked over to where I was, squinting to be able to see me.

"Nice shot." She said.

"Miss Romanoff is out!" Jarvis said.

For a while it was silent then the elevator doors opened and Steve stepped out, he crept into the lab silently, looking around to try and spot anyone else that was in here. He walked over to where I was crouched and I took the shot, hitting him in the side.

"Nice hiding spot." He said with a nod before heading back into the elevator.

"Mr Rogers is out!" Jarvis announced.

A few minutes later Jarvis said that Tony was out, meaning it was only Clint and I left, I knew he wouldn't risk coming down the lab. I climbed out from beneath the workbench and started to leave the lab.

"Good luck." Bruce said with a smile.

"I'm going to need it." I said with a soft chuckle.

I stepped into the elevator and took a deep breath, I really did not want to lose. Cautiously, I looked both ways before stepping out of the elevator, I broke out into a run as I sprinted towards my bedroom. I shut the door carefully behind me, not wanting to make any noise.

"How did I know you'd come here?" Clint said from behind me, making me jump.

"What are you going to ask for when you win?" I asked with a sigh.

"Nothing, because I'm not going to win." He said as he shot himself with the nerf bullet.

"Mr Barton is out!" Jarvis called.

We all joined back in the games room and Tony grinned at Clint.

"The mighty Hawkeye, taken down by his girlfriend, what a tragic story." Tony said.

"It's just a game Stark, I'm sure if it was real life I definitely wouldn't have won." I said.

"What is your desired prize?" He asked.

"I want the rest of the days until Christmas off of work." I said with a yawn.

"Is that it?" He asked.

"Yeah." I said tiredly.

"Fine, done." Tony said.

I smiled and nodded as I walked out of the games room, trying to fight the sleep trying to engulf me. I climbed into the elevator and went back down to Bruce's lab.

"You won." He said with a smile.

"Mhmm." I said with a yawn.

"It's not even midday and you're already tired. you don't look great either. What's going on?" He asked.
I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote 'are there cameras down here?' He nodded so I wrote 'can you turn them off?' He started tapping buttons on the computer then turned back to me.

"They're off, now what's going on" He asked.

"I've been feeling a bit off for the last few days, yesterday morning and this morning I was sick but I don't throw up during the day which I find odd. I'm tired all the time and even Clint and Tony have picked up on the fact that something is wrong with me. But I can't tell them what it is because I don't know what it is." I said with a sigh.

"I think I might have an idea. When was the last time you uh.... you had a period?" He asked.

It all clicked in my head in that moment, but it couldn't be, surely?
