Why is he here?

JUNGKOOK POV

I came home from my cousin's house, about 3 hours ago

And I'm actually pretty excited cause Tae told me that he had some good news when he gets home.

I checked the time and it was about 20 minutes before school ends, which gives me time to get ready and buy some cookies before I go and pick up Tae.

I took an over sized white shirt and black ripped jeans, topping it off with my favorite timberlands

"Keys..." Right now I was frantically searching for the car keys, cause when I got home I tossed it somewhere around the house

"Found it!" I screamed in victory once I found the keys under some pillows on the couch.

I stopped in a small bakery where Taehyung and I always go to when we were craving some sweets

After a few minutes of choosing what kind of cookies to get, I finally settled on the classic chocolate chip cookies

Once I was done paying, I rushed to the car so I won't be late.

I made it just in time as people started to pile out of the school doors

I pulled down the window and waved frantically "Taehyung!! Taehyung!!" I called out to the brown haired boy

His expression lights up when he sees the familiar black mustang parked right infront of the school gates

TAEHYUNG POV

My last class for today had just finished and I was about to ask Jimin if he could take me home

And to my dismay, Jimin still had 2 classes left before he could leave

So I decided to just take the bus, but as I was about to exit the school premises, I noticed a black mustang parked outside with an excited Jungkook waving and shouting my name

I quickly ran to the car, only for me to be suffocated in a bone crushing hug

"can't...bre-..breathe"

"Oops, my bad" Jungkook let out the cutest giggle ever "I just really missed you" partnering with the cute giggle, came an even cuter pout

"Aww I missed you too my baby bun" I kissed his lips to make the pout disappear, which by the way worked

"Oh and I got you some cookies" my mouth watered when I saw a paper bag full of my favorite cookies

"Thank you so so sooooo much" this time it's my turn to hug Jungkook really tight to the point that he couldn't breathe, which we laughed off later on

|| TIME SKIP ||

Jungkook and I have been hanging out in an abandoned park nearby, that we found a couple years back

As we were laying back on an old oak tree, we spotted a small cat seated on a rusty old bench

"Tae, I'm going to go play with it ok?" I nodded to Jungkook as I knew even if I disagreed he would still find his way to play with the cat

I watched as he took careful strides towards the cat

The cat started meowing but not in a angry way, it was as if it was calling you to play with it

I found it so adorable that Jungkook and the cat just seemed to bond pretty well.

After about 5 minutes of watching the two play around, I noticed that they were coming closer and in my direction

Once Jungkook and the cat were finally seated beside me, I noticed the pleading eyes on Jungkook's face

"Can we keep it please tae" he looked at me with those adorable puppy like eyes, which i found hard to say no to
