If That Doesn't Kill You, This Will

Noya's P.O.V.

"Oh." I say aloud reminding myself that I can't bathe with the team anymore. "Damn it!" I complain and I feel my face get red. "Wait..." I start thinking. "If it's time for the second-years...and I'm a second-year...why can't I go first?" I say. Ryu looks at me, and I bolt out the door, with Tanaka chasing me. "FIRST ONE THERE GETS TO SHOWER FIRST!" I scream as I run down the hall. "HEY, KINOSHITA'S ALREADY DOWN THERE." I halt to a stop. "Since when?!" I ask Ryu. "Since they told us that it was time for the second-years to bathe?" he tells me and I just click my tounge and walk back in defeat.

I get back to the sleeping quarters, and sit down on my futon. "What happened?" asks Asahi. "Ennoshita beat us there." I frown and lay on the floor. "Oh, I see." he says. I can tell he wants to say something but doesn't. "You okay? You seem more nervous than usual." I ask playfully. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just a lot to take in." he responds, nudging my arm. "I know..." I say. "Y'know, I had to take a shot yesterday." I tell him, out of the blue. This is one of my favorite things about Asahi. I feel like I can talk to him about anything. "Oh, really? How'd thay work out?" he asks me. "Hated every second of it." I spat out. "Hmm." he chuckles deeply. "I'm tired. I wanna sleep." I say. "It's only 7:48, and you haven't showered." he says, holding my arm. "But I don't wanna shower~" I complain and plop back down on the floor. "You were just racing Tanaka down to the showers to bathe first." "...okay, fine."

The rest of the second-years came into the room, freshly showered. "MY TURN~" I yell, obviously happy that I can shower now. "Uhm, no. It's out turn. Wait until it's your turn," Saltyshima says. "Princess." Did he... no he didn't. Oh..he did. "TSUKIIIISSHHIIIIMAAAAAAA" I lunge towards him, but I'm held back by Hinata and Tanaka. "I WILL BITE YOU." I screech and he just walks away. "'Princess my fat ass." I grumble and sit back down. "WHY CAN'T I JUST SHOWERRRR?" I complain out-loud, earning a chuckle from Suga. "You'll get your turn. Just wait there." he smiles. "Why is he always right?" I ask Tanaka and Asahi. "I know right? It's creepy sometimes." Ryu says and I laugh. "I-I think he can hear you guys..." Asahi squirms and I turn around to see Suga staring right at us. "Oops." I wave at him and turn around. "That's crazyy..." I say.

"We're done." Kageyama says walking back in. "NOW IT'S MY TURN!" I yell and right then and there...Kiyoko comes in. "It's time for us to bathe." she says. "AGH! I'M TIRED OF WAITING TO SHOWER." I yell, and give up. I wanna cry now. "Just let me baaaaaattthhhee." I say, my head on my hands. "Who said anything about waiting?" Kiyoko says. My head shoots up, and so does the rest of the team's head. "You're guys are bathing with the managers." At this, I go quiet. "W-what?" Shoyo stutters out. I hide behind Asahi and say, "U-um, why?" I feel a glare burning a hole on my back so I turn around and see Tanaka. "Eek. T-Tanaka, down, boy." I say. "Well, because we need to save water, and you guys are girls now, so you have to bathe with us. Is there a problem?" Kiyoko asks. "Yes, actually. As much as I would like to...I don't wanna." I mumble and hide some more. "Noya.." I turn around and see Suga. "go shower." he glares at me. Now it's Shoyo's turn to argue. "B-but we're both guys- mentally, at least. Are you sure we should-" he's cut off by Kiyoko. "Takeda says that this will be the last shower of the day. You don't really have much of a choice." Shoot. "Asahi...help me." I say as I shuffle some more behind Asahi.

"NOOOOOO, KIYOKO, LET ME GOOO!" Hinata and I both scream as Kiyoko and Yachi drag us away. Again. The team just watches the drama unfold. During this time Tanaka made a random paper hat. "TANAKA, HELP ME, ASAHI. HELP!" Tanaka puts his Buddha face on, and holds his hat to his chest. "Farewell my friend. Farewell." he says, still keeping that stupid face of his on. "WHAT THE HELL? ASAHI HELP!" I screech. He looks at Suga who's face says it all. He looks down to the floor and Kiyoko drags us away.

Suga's POV

I can still hear the child screeching from down the hall. I'm surprised he's never lost his voice. I look back at Daichi and he just shrugs. "I told you something was wrong." I tell him and he chuckles. "I know." he responds turning back to the team. "Alright everybody, lay out your futons and get ready to sleep. We still have 20 minutes until curfew, and we have nothing to do, so you might as well." commands Daichi. I lay mine against Daichi's by instinct. I feel safer around him...

In a brotherly way?

Either way, I always just ignore the feeling. Even if it wasn't, what are the odds that he'll like me back? Slim. He probably has a thing for Michimiya, so I'll let that be. Daichi snapped me out of my thoughts when he started talking. "Hinata and Noya...who would've thought." he said. "Things are definitely going to be different..." I say. "They're cute girl, not gonna lie." he says, and I feel my heart shatter into pieces.

"Yeah..." I say, trying not to sound sad. "Not that I would date them or anything!" he quickly adds. "They're the same Noya and Hinata and before, and I would never date them." I feel a little relieved. "Hmm." I hum in response. "But you know what that means." by the time he says that, I'm really confused on what he means. I tilt my head but all he does is look away... I wonder why... "It means people are most likely going to hit on them. You saw how Tanaka and Kageyama ran after them.." he tells me and I realize what this means. I guess I was putting up a weird face because everyone in the room went quiet. "We can't let that happen now, can we?" I say. Daichi visibly gulped and I continue setting up my futon.
