To the future generation,
Good luck. Or should we begin with an apology? A sorry? Life's been easier for you in many terms, in many senses, in many areas. You've been progressing in a term earlier invented by the mankind - technology. But there are many things that you have missed on too. Or maybe you never knew that you are missing out; too consumed in yourself, in the work you do, struggling and suffering from the mistakes made by us, by the past. Sorry, for all the things you have to deal with, because of us, because of our insanity, our misunderstandings, our foolishness. Never did we ponder on the thought that maybe, just maybe, the things, the resources we are using - or overusing in our case - would be essential for you guys too. Never did we think that for the future, the future mankind, the essentialities would be snatched, by us, because of us; and no matter the amount of progress that takes place, these could never be restored, never be brought back to life.
Sorry, for not being able to give all of you the simplest experiences that we witnessed. To be honest? We were smart; smart idiots, who literally just lived in the present, without thinking of you guys. We are proud of you, of all the inventions you have made, of all the progressions you have achieved, despite the uncanny struggles you had to face. The struggles we faced were the kind you may not even know of and the same thing with you guys.
"Who turned off the oxygen?" - these kinda questions were absurd at the time. Some questions that we never really thought of, you know? But you guys have, you have thought of it, unfortunately because we didn't. Sorry for all the questions you have to think of, all the questions of whose answers you have to be afraid of. Sorry because we didn't ponder upon all these questions at the right time. We are really proud of you, remember that.

Anywayyyyy, this was one of my entries for a platform know as "Terribly Tiny Tales". They have a challange going on and they post a new line everyday and we have to submit out entries on their app.
Today's line was to use "Who turned off the oxygen?". And I used it in the letter. I am not a pro at writing but 🤷.
