Title : Repayment
This morning when I woke up and looked in the mirror, I didn't recognise the face looking back at me. "This is not me!" I cried aloud.
My warm brown eyes were replaced by a pair of lifeless and bloodshot eyes staring back at me. The smooth and soft tanned skin was now wrinkly and a pale yellow skin. I almost shrieked aloud at the sight of my long shiny jet black hair, now into short curly mess of ugly strawberry blond hair. My head was spinning furiously at the sight of my so called reflection, today was my coronation day, but with This all! I couldn't believe what i saw. I slowly raised my shaking hand to touch the wierd reflection in the mirror, and a troubled shout escaped my trembling lips, but this time not due to the reflection, but because of the fact that the reflection in the mirror intervened the fingers with mine.
I quickly pulled my hand back and i could hear Leslie banging the door and shouting my name troubled, i knew that i should get moving, that i should get out of this room, this palace as soon as possible, but i couldn't do so.
It was as if my feet were glued to the floor.
I swear I saw my filthy reflection flash a wicked grin at me.
My knees gave away and I collapsed on the floor as I took in my vision the three pointed spear in my reflection's hand.
It was all coming back now. I should have known that murdering my body's old soul was a sin. I should have been careful, that the host body would repay my deeds of killing it's original soul, and not beautifully.
I should have been ready for the ugly prize of my sin. I now knew that the reflection was none other than Sandra, the soul of my Host, whom i had killed, or atleast i thought i did....
Ps. This was the story I wrote in my tenth board exam😂
And yes, I remember it because I have good memory 😎
