"Hi where's Michael Gardner" I asked the lady at the hospital

"3 rd floor fifth room" she answered

"Thank you" I said before I made my way to the elevator

I wonder how Michael was doing, I hope he didn't get hurt to badly, and I wonder how he got hurt

I knocked lightly in the door before letting myself in

I saw Ella sitting on a chair next to Michael her face was stained with tears and her eyes were puffy but the bright smile on her face while she was talking to Michael told me that everything was alright

"How are you doing" I asked Michael

"Better" he said

"Is anything wrong with you" I asked

"I had a small concussion from falling onto the floor and a broken leg but both are healing" answered Michael

"That's relieving" I said taking a seat next to Ella

"Do you know what happened" I asked him

"No clue" he said

"I may have a clue, Lexi what does this mean" asked Ella taking out the note

"Uhh" I said while reading it

My dad, he did this to Michael, he put him through this pain

"Did you have any clue he was gonna do this" asked Ella

"Yes, but I didn't think he was actually gonna do it" I said

"We'll he did" said Ella and I noticed the anger that was in her voice

"Guys it's fine, I'm fine so there's no need to get mad over this" said Michael

"Fine" I said but halfway I was interrupted with a knock

I opened the door to reveal a girl

"Put your hands up" said the girl with a gun in her hand

"Please don't hurt us" said Ella immediately putting her hands up

"Fatima" I said going in for a hug

"Hey girl, how you doing" she asked putting her gun down

"Good, Ella this is my friend Fatima we used to go to school together" I said

"Oh, but how did you get a gun" asked Ella

"I'm a cop" she said

"Oh, okay, dies she know" said Ella slightly still unconvinced

"Yes, I know " said Fatima answering for me

"What are you doing here" I asked

"I was put on the case, do you have any suspects" she asked

"Ya, my dad" I said

"Why would he do that" she asked

"We'll he's been calling me, threatening he'll hurt someone and we found this note" I said while handing her the note

"Okay we'll I could track the phone call" she said

"No you cant"I said

"Why not" she asked

" I blocked the signal so no one can track me" I said

"In pretty sure I can un-block it" she said

"If my dad the billionaire can't pay someone to do it, i pretty sure no one can" I said

"Okay then I'll scan this note for fingerprints and handwriting matches" she said

"You can also check my surveillance video cameras at home" said Michael

"Will do" responded Fatima

"Thanks so much, but can you make she not to tell anybody about me" I asked

"My lips are sealed, I'll contact you if I figure anything out" she said before she left

"So your friends with a cop" said Ella

"Yup, when can we bring Michael home" I asked

"In a week but he needs a cast for a few months" said Ella

"Okay, I have to go but I'll see you later" I said

"Where you going" asked Ella

"I have to talk to Derek" I answered

"Have you decided yet" Ella asked obviously talking about if I still like him or not

"Not yet, I'm very indecisive" I said

"Do you have a plan" asked Ella

"Yes in gonna match in they're and ask him what's he gonna do with my secret, now I'm gonna go before I change my mind" I said and then left the room

"Derek" I said while knocking on his dorm room door

"Hey e" he said when he opened the door

"We need to talk" I said

"We sure do" he said

"You now my secret" I said

"Yes" he said

"What are you gonna do" I asked

"This" he answered

Before I realized what was happening he lend in and kissed me, Immediately I kissed back, sadly he pulled back

"Goodnight E" he said before closing the door

I was probably standing there for a few more minutes before it all sunk in

Derek kissed me and I kissed back

With that kiss lets just say I'm coming to a conclusion about this crush and let me tell you it is not going to the no side
