Chapter 8

"You will tell us how your father is getting the money" said the masked men

" I don't know, he doesn't tell me" I said while tears were running down my face, My arms stung there were so many cuts

"Liar" he screamed as he cut me once again

"Ah" I screamed as the knife pierced into my skin

"please let me go I won't tell anyone you kidnapped me" i pleaded

"No you are going to tell me" he said as another man entered the room

" She won't answer" said the masked men

"If she won't tell us then ask for a ransom" said what looked like the boss

"Okay" said the masked man

"Bag her" said the boss and the mask man came at me with ropes and bags

"No" I screamed as I tried to get out of the ropes

"Lexi, wake up" said Ella as she shook me

"Ahh" I screamed as I shot up from bed

"You were having a nightmare" explained Ella

"Sorry" I said

"It's fine, what were you dreaming of" asked Ella

"Just a bad memory" I said while sighing

"Okay school starts in a hour so I don't think we can go back to bed" she said

"You want to go out for breakfast" I suggested

"Sure" she said and left to get dressed

I grabbed my phone and called a friend

"Emilia" said the phone

"No, it's Lexi from now on" I said

"Oh hey" he said

"Hey Michael, we need to talk" I said

"Ya I was actually just gonna call you" said Michael

"We'll I'm having the nightmares again" I told him

"You need to remember it's only a dream and that it's all over" he said

"Ya but my dreams suck if they don't finish they come back the next day or so" I said

"Just try to hang in there" he said

"Thanks, so why did you call" I asked

"You dad paid me a visit" he said

"What did he do" I asked

"He interrogated me, asking where you were but I told him that you were at the academy and going under the name Lexi Hanson" he said

"WHAT" I screamed, I just went into panic mode

"I'm joking, I told him that i haven't seem you since you ran off" he said

"Oh, thank god" I said and began to breath again

"K I'll see you soon" he said but more like asked

"Ya, I'll visit you soon" I said

"Awesome bye" he said

"Bye" I said as I hung up

"Who was that" asked Ella as she walked out of the bathroom fully dressed

"Just a friend" I said as I went into the bathroom to get changed

------------ hours later --------------

"Sorry" I said has i bumped into someone

"Watch out" said the man at me and walked off anger clearly visible

He reminded me of someone but I couldn't put my finger on it

"Ready for your first school wide gathering" said Ella as she came to my side and we made our way to the auditorium

"I think so, why" I asked

"We'll we only do school wide gatherings if it's something really important" explained Ella

"Oh" I said as we took a seat

"Lexi, I've been looking every where for you, we need to talk" said Zoe as she rushed to my side

"Five seconds the principal is talking" I said as the principal made her way to the podium

"It's really important" said Zoe

"Shh" I said as I focused my attention on Ms. Walters ( the principal )

"We have a very important person with us today" she said

"Lexi" said Zoe but I cut her off with another shush

"He's the richest man who owns the most know company" she said

"Lexi you need to listen to me" said Zoe

"No" I snapped and looked back at Ms. Walters

"Please welcome...." she said but Zoe cut her off

"Lexi" she said

"No" I repeated and looked back to the stage were a man was by her side, a man I knew my entire life, who was mean, strict, over criticizing and judgmental

"Dad" I whispered

I am so sorry, i totally forgot that yesterday was Friday, I thought it was Thursday, again so sorry for the day late update

I felt this was the perfect way to end this chapter, I love cliffhangers
