Chapter 10

"You will leave the money on the side, make sure no trackers or dye, if so we shot her, after we check the money we will let her go, if any of you follow we will come back for her" said the men then hanged up the phone

"Let's go" he said as he grabbed me and pushed me into the car

"Ow" I groaned as my head banged against the window

"You get the money and get back in the car" said the boss and the man got out of the car

"I got it" said the man entering the car

"Are there any trackers or dye" asked the boss

"No" he said

"Perfect" he said then grabbed me and we exited the car

"You will stay still" he ordered as he pressed the gun against my head

"Let her go" said a police officer

"You will not follow" he said

"Okay" said the police officer

"How do I know your not lying" he asked

"We promise" said the officer

He pushed me to the ground and raced back to the car

"Emilia can you hear us" said the officer

"Emilia" he repeated as everything went dark

I shot out of bed, my body was all sweaty, there were tears all over my face and my heart was beating very fast

"It's all over" I said to myself

I got out of bed and made my way out of the dorm. I just need to take a small walk

"What are you doing up" asked a voice

"Derek, what are you doing up" I answered

"I needed to clear my head, you" he said

"Same thing" I answered

"You've been crying" he asked

"Yup" I answered shyly

"Are you fine" he asked

"Yes I'm fine" I said even though I wasn't

"I'm sorry for asking again but Are you sure I don't know you" asked Derek, as he looked me up and down

"Sorry, I haven't ever seen you before" I said lying

"You just look so familiar" he said eyeing me

"I'm sorry but I'm gonna go back up" I said and made my way back up to the dorm

"Lexi wake up, your gonna be late for school" said Ella as she tried but failed to get me out if bed

"5 more minutes" I mumbled

"You don't have five minutes" said Ella

"Fine" I groaned as I forced myself out of bed

"Hurry up" said Ella as I walked into the bathroom

"I can't believe we have another school wide meeting" said Ella as we made our way to the auditorium

"It's probably about Emilia Winter" I said

"Probably" agreed Ella

"Hey Lexi" said Derek as he passed us

"Hey" I answered and we walked into opposite directions

"You and Derek getting cozy hun" said Ella poking me

"No, were just friends" I said

"Boyfriend you mean" said Ella

"No" I repeated

"Oh it's gonna happen and I'm the one who called it" said Ella as she happily skipped to a seat

"You not gonna shut up about this, are you" I said

"Nope" she said popping the p

"Ugh" I groaned as the principal began to speak and my dad stood next to her

"Silent" she said as she passed the microphone to my dad

"I would like to ask if any of you have information on my daughter, please contact us" he said

"We will" said the principal taking the microphone back and my dad made his way of the stage and Ms. Walters began to talk about different topics

"Finally done" I said as we got up from our seats

"These meetings are so boring" said Ella as we walked out of the auditorium

"Goodbyes ladies" said my dad as we walked by

"Bye Mr. Winter" said Ella kindly and I muttered a quick goodbye and we walked off
