It all happened so fast. We found Emma, Spencer's sister, and took her to a safe place. However, that was the only good thing that came out of this situation. During the shooting, Erin got shot in the leg, near the femoral vein. She was losing a lot of blood, she even fainted because of it. So we rapidly called an ambulance, and the police came with it.
The police wasn't happy about it. Two Chicago detectives in New York and two FBI agents who didn't have authorization from their bosses. We were in a mess, without doubt. There were 13 offenders down.
We didn't tell them about Emma. We didn't know if we could trust them, if they weren't working with the group we had wiped out. So we told them that a C.I. had told us there was a cocaine deal going on there. They didn't buy it but they didn't have proof of something else.
