Luxis wandered the school's pavement which was framed with luscious Cherry trees lining up on both sides of the path, gleaming red orbs clustered in the leaves and branches. He took in the heady yet sweet fragrances of their fruits that make even his taste buds tingle from the smell. He looked ahead of him; a phoenix statue stood behind a four-storey copper facade building which was silhouetted by the rising sun. The pedestal was standing 15 feet and its wings expanded to almost over 20 tip to tip, flaunting its gold and red plumes with some green streaks in them. He let his thoughts drift from last night's dream and what happened after he woke up. He had tons of enigmatic dreams before that he can't fathom but this one felt so real that it left a lingering aftermath in him.

"Hey, are you okay?" A purple-haired girl appeared in front of him. He immediately snapped from his thoughts and greeted her.

"H-hi."

"So how was your Sunday?" She asked as she moved to his side and matched his pace.

"I-It was okay," he responded, stammering.

"I heard you guys went on to the bar that Cael was working?"

Luxis looked to his side to see that his classmate was looking at her. Her brimming blue eyes complimented her fair skin and thin, red lips. She was wearing the cream-colored button-up polo tucked in her dark-grey pencil skirt sitting above her knees.

She smiled while still looking at him but Luxis looked away, feeling the warmth on his cheeks.

"H-how did you know?" He asked as they continued walking.

"Novo uploaded a video on his profile last night. Anyways can I ask you something?"

"S-Sure."

"I don't mean to offend you but you seem to stammer a lot. Do you have a certain kind of speech condition?"

"I don't," he answered, quickly. "I'm just not really used to talking to, you know, uhh..."

"I understand. Cause I don't really hear you stammer when you talk with Cael or Novo. I guess since you're really close to them."

"Uhm."

She leaped in front of him then twisted gracefully to face him. "You know what? I shouldn't be a stranger to you nor everyone in the class are so I hope sooner you can be comfortable with the rest of us, too. But that doesn't mean I'm forcing you to like us too, I mean we'd spend most of our time together we're like family."

"Good morning class. Are you guys ready for the coming term exam?" Graywind asked as soon as she placed her laptop on the table in front of everyone. "I think everyone is all aware that the winner from our retreat's Brawl and Rescue will be exempted from the exam and will automatically receive the internship recommendation certificate from the university."

"Internship certificate?" The blue-haired girl questioned while she stands up.

"Yes, Ms. Beatrix." The teacher regarded as she continued, "What your next semester looks like will be an alternate of on-field hero training and university classes. The school gives students who passed their term examination a recommendation certificate to provide to the hero agency of their choice. Note that there is no guarantee that the company that you are trying to apply will accept you that's why your transcripts are also included when you submit an application and we normally recommend you submit to as many agencies as possible. If you apply and get accepted right away, you get to finish your next semester early and have more time for your summer break."
