"Welcome to the Hexagon Open Museum!" A warming soft voice echoed around the place said to be the first destination of the class' field trip. The Class 1-Alpha tried to find where the voice came from as they scanned through young wisteria trees that bloomed its purple flowers. "I am Lyre, your tour guide for today and I will try my best to provide you with all the things that you need to know, Queentus University students." The class looked up as a shadow emerged from the sky. "Now, if you would follow me, please?" Lyre asked as she hovered above the group. The morning sun silhouetted her figure as she rapidly flapped her dark wings stretched out from her back, trailed with her enormous tailfeather. Dew, the winged student of the group tried to measure the guide's wings and he smirked as his wings were still two times bigger than her's, given his' was of a peregrine falcon. He smirked victoriously.
The tour guide glided while the students followed her as she plunged her way towards a gate naturally made out of two gigantic acacia trees standing a few hundred meters away from each other; their branches and leaves overlapped as if they were forming an arch, and their colossal roots crawling out of the soil that reached few feet away from their trunks. The acacias looked nourished and healthy considering that they were overcrowded with all the wisteria trees that were in the area; the abundance of the branches and the thickness of their vigorous leaves blocked any sunlight that it creates an instant dark shade. The trees' enormous roots protruded the pavement nearly destroying it. Everyone thought that it was a beautiful sight that few of the students smiled and some were antsy to see what's beyond the massiveness.
"Let's follow her." Chameleon initiated as he started to follow the tour-guide as his students tagged along.
Beyond the couple of acacias was a narrow hallway that made the group fall in lines of two in order for them to walk comfortably. At both sides, full-bloomed, oversized wisteria trees lined up as they made the foyer dark with only few sun rays passing through its rich leaves. The place was placid and the only sound that can be heard was the rustle of leaves dancing through the wind. There were some random chatters coming from the group but it was short-lived as everyone was astounded by the beauty of the wisteria blooms.
As the class walked further, the path became brighter as trees were younger and smaller than the ones they'd passed. Few more steps and they were in the open air; the sun rays roamed freely as it feels like the students have gone to a whole new place. "Welcome to the Pillars of Hexagon, Queentus University students! I believe all of you are familiar with this work of art!" The look on the students' faces was that of amusement and exhilaration, and Luxis was one of them, as a matter of fact; the most excited one in his own way - tranquil on the outside, jittering on the inside. His eyes sparkled as he finally saw this iconic edifice in person.
There stood six dark-ivory pedestals arranged to an imperfect hexagon; each tower, being entirely made of stones, has detailed carvings to its body that were very unique to the other. The students, at the guide's signal, moved closer to the building. Now, the pillars seem to loom over the students because of their massiveness. "Among all the replicas that I saw, this was the biggest!" Novo said as he slightly shook Luxis while both of their faces were painted with a thrill in their own ways.
The tour-guide, hearing those words, smiled as she landed to the middle of the hexagon. "As everyone all knows, this Pillars of Hexagon was the meeting place of the Legendary Six Strongholds who were said to be the origin of our vises." Lyre continued as she observed the students walking up the golden stairs and went inside the structure. "According to our historians, the Pillars of Hexagon seemed to be always moving as it was never seen by the human eyes until the first great war." She slowly landed to meet her visitors as she joined them in appreciating how enormous each pedestal was. "Although this is the biggest replica of the headquarter of the guardians, it is said that the real Pillars of Hexagon is 100 times bigger than this."
