"Mom, I'm heading now," Luxis informed Alice while he was crouched down tying his runners, getting ready for his first day of school.

"Wait, Luxis!" She rushed to her son bringing in a packed lunch with a smile on her face for she thought that her son looked good in his new uniform. It's a cream, mandarin-collared short sleeves matched with dark-grey pants and black runners. "I know there is a canteen inside the university but at least bring some extra food." Using her fingers, she combed away some of his pitch-black hair to the side of his face to see his emerald eyes. "I'm happy that you're happy."

Luxis was walking at the school's hallway while he was looking at a paper that has directions to his classroom. "Human lamp, your dirty trick worked well huh?" Toniteus blocked him. The blond-haired guy wore the same shirt as Luxis' but he'd undone the first top two buttons of his uniform that displayed his silver necklace.

"Toni, it's... It's not like that." Luxis stuttered as cold, fresh air filled the hall. The building that they were in overlooked a man-made garden that was rich with flowers and cherry trees.

"It should only be the three of us who're supposed to get that 20 points. You were just like a cripple back then that can't do anything with your vis." Toniteus intensely looked at him as if his brown, narrow eyes glared past Luxis' soul. The two stood in the same height but the dark-haired guy seemed to be belittled with the intimidating aura that the blonde intentionally emits.

"You're in my way." The grey-haired guy interrupted as he walked between them. His ash hair complimented the full set of the QU uniform that he was wearing; dark-grey mandarin-collared coat with the cream-colored shirt inside, dark-grey pants and black dress shoes. His expression as pale as his skin, a pair of heterochromatic eyes swiftly met Toni's.

"What?!" Toniteus shifted his attention to the guy who just ignored him and walked past the two. Luxis seeing that his previous classmate was distracted, grabbed that opportunity to escape from Toniteus, following the grey-haired guy. "You don't walk away from me, you human lamp!"

Luxis matched the grey-haired guy's pace and thought that he owed him gratitude for always saving him from Toniteus. "Hey, uhm thanks."

The grey-hair stopped walking and looked at him, blankly. "For?"

"Uhh... for always saving me from Toni." On second thought, he must have misinterpreted the grey-haired's action of always butting in when Toniteus picked up on him. It's as if this guy would always be at a right timing to disrupt the tension between them.

"Who's Toni?" The grey-haired guy asked.

"Uhh." "I knew it! He did not really try to save me twice!" He bashfully muttered to his mind. "The guy from earlier." Luxis decided to just answer his question but felt that his face was flushed of humiliation that he just wanted to sulk in an isolated room and talk to no one.

"You guys are always fighting in the way, its very inconvenient." He said with a dead face and entered the classroom.

Luxis looked at to where the guy entered. It was his classroom, too. "Human lamp." Toniteus slightly edged him and walked in the classroom, as well.

"Oh, I am so lucky to have both of them in my class" . He thought that his first day was already at its worst; then the minute he entered the room, everyone else looked at him. It was just a normal habit of students who were already inside the room, that everyone tend to look at who's entering the door as it was situated at the front of the classroom. But for Luxis, he gets a little tensed every time attention was directed towards him.
