I cuddled with Ethan on the couch as he watched Tom and Jerry while I watched Ed and Sofia in the kitchen who talked and giggled amongst themselves. They had gotten closer these last two weeks and honestly, it didn't bother me at all. Booboo, on the other hand, was getting a bit insecure.
"Is Angie almost here?" Ethan asked as he looked up at me. I looked at the clock on the wall seeing it was just turning one o'clock meaning she should be here any second now. "Almost buddy. Give her a little bit more to me," I spoke causing him to hum resting his head on my arm. "Do you think they'll like me?" He whispered softly. Today was the day that the kids are meeting and to say Ethan was nervous was an understatement. "They're going to love you, son," I spoke causing him to smile softly as the elevator dinged. "This is where you live?" Pax asked causing me to laugh softly. "Not for long we move to Cali in a couple of days," I spoke as I stood up making my way towards them with Ethan holding onto the back of my shirt nervously.
"Hey guys," I spoke smiling as Sofia and Ed walked out the kitchen. "Sofia!" They called causing Angelina to chuckle before she made her way over towards me pecking my lips. "Hey baby," she spoke as she looked down at Ethan who hid behind me. "Hey Ethan," She spoke squatting to his level. "Hey Angie," He spoke throwing his self at her and pulling her into a hug. "He's nervous," I mumbled quietly after he pulled away grabbing my hand.
"Guys this is Ethan," I spoke catching the Jolie children's attention. I watched Ethan wave awkwardly as he shuffled behind me slightly. "Hey, I'm Vivienne," The youngest spoke hopping forward confidently with her hand out. I watched as Ethan blushed nervously before shaking her hand. "I'm Ethan," He mumbled as the rest of the kids stepped forward introducing themselves.
"I like your cast," Knox spoke looking at the green cast that had many random drawings and names on them. "Thanks. I get it taken off next week?" Ethan spoke looking at me to confirm. I nodded before he turned back around. "Do you think they'll let you keep it?" Knox asked as Pax shook his head. "He can't keep it, Knox. They cut it off," He spoke as if Knox was supposed to know that. "Alright enough talk about the cast. Who's ready for the aquarium?" I asked causing out the youngest to cheer as Shiloh, Zaharia, and Pax smiled.
