You had never really had any formal dance training or lessons, but you loved to dance. More than dancing.. you loved to sing.

In June of 2019, your parents were murdered in front of you eyes. You didn't take it well, since you were an only child, you and your parents were really close. The first month, you were in a depression, barely eating, barely getting up from your bed. Then, out of desperation to get you up and moving, your Aunt told you about this app called TikTok.

Willing to try anything to get your mind off of the tragedy, you downloaded TikTok in July. By August you already had 100,000 followers. You made singing, dancing, and POV videos.

Since you lived in New Jersey, you got a chance to meet up with the Lollipop Boys and hang with them  during a Meet and Greet. While at the Meet and Greet, you were scrolling through you FYP and you found a POV of a really attractive boy. He had freckles, green eyes, and dark hair with a beautiful smile. 

"duet this: POV I see you at a party and you're dancing... we lock eyes" was the description and he locked eyes with the camera, your heart stopped.

"Whacha lookin at?" Alejandro asks, looking over your shoulder.

The most beautiful boy in the world, you thought to yourself, mesmerized. You tilt your screen so he can see.

"Oh, that's my boy Quinton Griggs," Alejandro said.

Hmmm, Quinton Griggs...

He had torn his ACL in spring track doing long jump. Sports was his life and now, he couldn't do anything because of his injury. Trying to find something useful to do with his time, his friends showed him this new app called TikTok. It was the stupidest thing he had ever seen, yet, he had nothing to do with his time anymore so he decided, "what the hell, why not?"

After doing a couple dances, he started to pick up a following. That's when he realized, he really enjoyed making TikToks. Although he wasn't much of a dancer, they weren't too hard and he could learn one dance in less that twenty mintues. He started focusing on dancing and doing POVs.

One day he got on live to say hi to his fans. He had about 564,000 at this time, so there were quite a few fans on his live. Almost 6,000. He had never really done live on TikTok before.

"Hey guys, what's up," he ran his fingers through his hair, leaving it in more of a mess than it was before. He scrolled through, following back fans that left coins for him and answering questions.

"What color are my eyes?" he got close to the camera and opened his eyes big so they could see. "They're like a hazel and green."

The comments rolled in so quickly it was hard for him to read them all. As he went through and read them aloud, he read this comment, "you and y/n would make cute babies."

"Um... thank you?" he looked at the camera in confusion. "I can't say I know y/n, but um, I'll take the compliment, I guess?"

"How do you not know y/n?" Sofia, his sister, said from off camera.

"¿Què quieres decir?" (translation: what do you mean?) he asked, turning his head towards his sister.

"Es muy popular en TikTok," (translation: she is really popular on TikTok) she responded. "She's the one that made that Renegade dance."

"Wait really?"

"Yeah, her and Charli D'Amelio. They're friends," she said scrolling through her phone to find a good picture to show Quinton.

"Aqui mira," (translation: here look) she help up her phone so he could look.

Wow, she's gorgeous, he tried to look at Charli too but couldn't take his eyes of off y/n.

Hmmm, y/n...

Fun fact, Quinton does in fact speak Spanish 😂... so do I a little haha
