JOE P.O.V.: when I opened the door still with my hair wet and just dressed up, I smiled seeing my brother there.
Nick: hey
Joe: hey, it's surprising to see you here and not on the inside door (he chuckled)
Nick: I lost the key to it, so I had to walk here
Joe: come in (we both walked to the living room and he sat on the couch) so?
Nick: I just wanted to spend some time with you, that's all
Joe: oh, alright then
Nick: what will we do?
Joe: (we heard someone opening a door upstairs and Nick frowned at me) probably the wind
Nick: it's not windy Joe, who's there?
Joe: no one
Nick: you're fucking someone else than Demi? (I shook my head laughing)
Joe: of course not
Nick: then, she's the one upstairs (I frowned)
Joe: what? Obviously not...anyways, do you want a coffee?
Nick: sure, thanks
Joe: come with me to the kitchen and we'll make it (we both went to the kitchen and I started to make coffee for us) how's Miley?
Nick: she's good, traveling at the moment
Joe: where to?
Nick: umm, to her parents' house (I nodded)
Joe: when's your wedding?
Nick: probably next month, why?
Joe: nothing, I was just wondering
Nick: you plan on taking someone with you?
Joe: (I shrugged) probably not
Nick: yea, it's unnecessary since Demi will be invited
Joe: Nick, I don't know what you think is going on between me and Demi but it definitely isn't (he raised one eyebrow and was about to talk when she entered the kitchen silently)
Demi: uh-oh (she whispered when she saw Nick and I smiled slightly)
Nick: trying to hide from me? Definitely not nice (she giggled wrapping her arms around herself)
Demi: I'm sorry, I just...
Nick: I think you may have something to tell me (she glanced at me and I shrugged)
Demi: I think so
Joe: you want a coffee too?
Demi: umm, yes please, with milk
Joe: okay (I noticed her hair was still wet in a bun and she was wearing just a long sleeve t-shirt) borrow one of my hoodies, you're gonna freeze if you don't
Demi: thanks, I'll be right back (she turned around and left the kitchen. Nick chuckled)
Nick: I'm always right
Joe: shut up already, and don't make her feel uncomfortable...thanks
Nick: I wouldn't do that Joe
Joe: help me here (I gave him his cup of coffee and grabbed the other two mugs for Demi and I)
We sat on the dinning table and Demi arrived with my colorful hoodie on making me smile at how cute she looked.
Demi: I'm back
Joe: there's your coffee
Demi: thank you Joey (she said before sitting between me and Nick on the tip of the table)
Nick: so...I'm all ears
Joe: what do you exactly wanna know?
Nick: the whole story
Joe: you knew we used to do that "benefit" thing
Nick: yes, and that there was a time when you stopped doing it because Joe fucked it up (she smiled and nodded)
Demi: he did
Joe: well, after that, the night we went out to celebrate your engagement, I went to Demi's house
Nick: I know, you told me you wanted to go there
Demi: he came to my house pretty drunk and told me somethings that weren't supposed to happen
Nick: what was it?
Demi: he told me that he loved me
Nick: and what happened then?
Joe: she kicked me out of her life for a couple of days until she finally decided to stop running away from her own feelings
Demi: exactly...and we started dating
Nick: okay, and when was that?
Jemi: like two weeks ago, I think (we laughed and Nick chuckled)
Nick: that's nice guys (he said smiling)
Demi: it is? I thought you hated me
Nick: Demi, of course I would never hate you and I was just worried for the both of you...but I think, after all these time you've been around each other, I've changed my mind about one of you leaving the other heartbroken. Like, damn, you guys look at each other with so much love it's unbelievable (we laughed and he smiled) so I approve this and I'm happy you're back together...I think it's about time (I glanced at Demi and kissed her cheek)
Joe: I guess it is
Demi: yep (she said smiling big and I felt my heart pounding hard in my chest)
I never knew I could feel so much love for someone, let alone Demi. I always loved her with such a huge intensity and now it was even bigger.
