JOE P.O.V.: I couldn't sleep that night, I kept getting flashbacks of Demi's worst moments and I was afraid of losing her again, so I didn't close my eyes longer than 10 minutes per hour.
It was already 9:23 a.m. when she opened her eyes and smiled slightly to me.
Demi: good morning handsome
Joe: good morning princess (I kissed her hand and she sat up in the bed)
Demi: I need to go pee
Joe: let me help you (I walked her to the bathroom and helped her back to the bed once she was ready and fixed)
Demi: did you sleep last night?
Joe: yea, I did
Demi: (she bit her lip) liar, I know you didn't sleep, it shows on your face Joe
Joe: (I sighed) I'm sorry for lying, you're right, I couldn't catch a decent sleep but I'm okay anyways
Demi: why don't you go get yourself some coffee? You look like you need it baby
Joe: yea, I will (I kissed her forehead and walked to the cafeteria to grab a coffee for me)
When I came back to the room, I sat in front of Demi and held her hand while drinking my coffee.
Joe: I should call someone to pick us up from here
Demi: oh, don't worry, I'll tell Max to pick us
Joe: sure? (she nodded) kay
Demi: I need to go home and do something with my face, I look destroyed
Joe: babe, you're in the hospital, it would be weird if it was different (she chuckled and nodded)
Demi: maybe you're right
Joe: I am and plus...I think you look beautiful
Demi: thank you (she whispered before kissing me sweetly just when the door opened)
Doctor: good morning guys, sorry for interrupting (I stood up straight and looked at him) how did you spend the night?
Demi: umm pretty well
Doctor: not even one trouble?
Demi: nope (the blonde doctor smiled and nodded)
Joe: why did she faint yesterday? What does the tests say?
Doctor: well, it wasn't anything bad
Demi: told ya it was nothing to worry about (she said smiling and I kissed her forehead)
Joe: that's awesome, I was worried something was wrong
Doctor: no, she probably just stood up too quickly or something...do you have low sugar sometimes?
Demi: no, I'm very careful with my diet (she nodded)
Joe: so, it's nothing to worry about?
Doctor: nothing to worry about, you're gonna have to get used to it cause in her state it could happen more often
Demi: my state? (She nodded and I started panicking)
Joe: which state? (I asked with a frown and her jaw dropped)
Doctor: you didn't know this?
Demi: w-what?
Doctor: you're pregnant
