I looked at Frey and thought, maybe this life will have to meet it's end one day.

And maybe, that day will be today.

I didn't think I wouldn't make it till 15 when I would have attended the academy and the real game would have started.

In the end, I don't even think I had any real friends to speak of.

If only I could've spend more time with my mom.

Now I don't even dare say goodbye.

I feel like I was stupid.

Stupid enough to continue with this charade.

I felt my shoulders being slightly shook. I looked up and saw Frey looking at me with reluctant eyes.

I woke up from my trance and looked at him determinedly.

By the time we arrived at the destination, the sky visibly darkened.

The cold ice water and the humming of the black mass swirling above me gave me a chill.

I was already exhausted by the transfer and now even this bit would make me feel more pressure.

I looked at Frey and nodded.

I was resigned to my fate so I will face the attack head on.

As Frey directed his purification powers at me, I closed my eyes.

If I disappear, the anomaly which is deeply connected with my soul will lose its damaging intensity while returning to be suppressed.

With no knowledge if Frey or any other entity will be able to eradicate this anomaly, I will just have to bet on my instincts.

And my instincts tell me that in order for everything to return to its original setting, I, an unknown constant, have to make way for this to happen.

As an unimaginable pressure crushed my soul, I could here a few shouts from my receding sense of hearing.

I opened my eyes and was blinded shortly by the light when everything else was swallowed by darkness.

It was as if I was swimming in murky waters.

I shortly glanced at Dawn. She was crying.

Wasn't she supposed to take care of my mom.

Huh?

Why is my mom here?

Why did you bring her here Dawn!?

Frank Sarno.

Why is he here as well?

He came to me slowly, smiling.

He put his hands on my neck as I started being choked.

The looming shadow brought me fear.

I reached down my pocket and tightly held a dagger.

I was almost out of breath.

I pushed the dagger with no resistance in the persons abdomen.

I could vaguely feel someone embracing me.

My consciousness slipped away.
