A maniacal laugh rang into our ears as Thrist started to irrationally summon storm clouds through his unique magic.

(Dawn) ' At this point he's not even capable of following a normal thought process.'

(Evan) ' Hmm, might as well eliminate him.'

He shrugged.

(Night) ' That's not it!'

She shook her head in disapproval.

I guess he doesn't deserve to die despite all of this. It's my fault after all.

I haven't been paying attention.

I placed my hand on my face in frustration.

The only option here is also something I don't want in any way to happen.

But there's no other way.

(Ann) ' Dawn, just do it already...'

(Dawn) ' As you wish!'

While the others made a move I turned my head to face the other side.

I was so angry...

I wanted to harm my own friend.

Just because I felt betrayed?

I rubbed my arm awkwardly.

Is this who I came to be?

Arhhghhh!

I guess it's done.

As the clouds slowly dissipated, I took slow steps towards where Thrist lied.

I clenched my fist, but resigned myself to it eventually.

One of my friends is gone.

Frey looked at me with puppy eyes and tried to comfort me.

(Frey) ' At least you'll still see him at the academy...'

(Evan) ' It's just memories isn't it?'

(Ann) ' Hahaha...'

I gave a dry laugh.

If only if it were that alone...

While everyone was working in apprehending those mysterious veiled women, and releasing the hostages that Thrist was planning to use as bargaining chips, I headed to the storage room despondently.

As I looked around, I found a malformed piece of clay barely resembling a fairy figurine.

I picked it up and sighed.

She was really annoying, but...

... ummm, she didn't have any good parts did she?

I started to slowly mold it back to it's original form.

Maybe... maybe it's going to work?

After I finished I stared at it for what seemed an eternity, seemingly intent for anything to happen, but in the end nothing did.

I sighed and tucked her safely in my pocket.

I'm sorry.

This was all a huge mistake.

Father was right.

I am an anomaly...

After the clean up, I reluctantly gazed back at my brother who seemed to argue with Rosie and left a note for him to a servant telling him I'm leaving first.

Damn, nothing turned out the way I wanted, but I'm literally exhausted.

I don't dare spend any more time here or at home.

(Ann) ' Take me with you Dawn. I'm likely to cause more trouble otherwise.'

(Dawn) ' Sigh. Kid, you blame yourself too much. It's not your fau-'

(Ann) ' It does not matter. I'm the catalyst right?'

(Dawn) ' As you wish...'

My head hurts.

I just want to lie down.

Entering the castle, I didn't feel at all at home.

I chose a random chamber to hole myself in since I didn't have the guts to face anyone at the moment.

Umm, this is turning kind of dark dontcha think?
