I have many bottles
Filled with secrets, empty promises,
And crazy bouts of emotions;
It made my future ominous.
One I had filled way past the brim,
And it was suffocating and painful;
But today I managed to open it,
Even though I felt quite shameful.
But now that it's empty
I've never felt happier;
I am free to do as a I please
And not be left to wonder.
I know soon I'll feel the repercussions
Of the poison oozing out,
But for tonight I'm unaffected
Cause I no longer have a doubt.
I know what's in the bottle hurts
But it's better than wondering;
If I'd left the bottle closed,
Then I'd be left suffering.
