I smile as I walk with Noir and Waverly. Our fingers are intertwined as we walk through the festival grounds. Ember, Willow and Neri walk beside us, while our mates behind us. I decided to hold onto them so they do not get lost. Noir has never been here before, and Waverly never really ventured this far out on her visit.

"The grounds are so beautiful," says Noir.

The large yard has truly transformed into a wonderland. I cannot wait to see how the patterns and fairy lights look at night. The hatchlings also seem excited to be able to release their handmade lanterns tonight. Vulcan agreed to it before it gets too dark. They hatchlings and teens under mating age will be off to bed at a certain time.

"It really is and the yard is nice even on a usual day," chimes Neri.

"Yes it is, but today there seems to be a magical feel here," adds Ember.

It feels nice to have clan members stop and compliment me. I was really stressed about all of the decorations and activity areas. The food and drinks were not really stressful. A few clan members that are chefs or own restaurants offered to handle catering. Apparently, they take part in a lottery to see who caters for what festival. All I can say is that was a relief for me. One less thing I had to do for my first festival.  Now I have an idea of how to plan the next festival, which is in winter.

Willow giggles as she suddenly holds onto Ember's arm. This makes Ember jump slightly, and then laugh. "I offered to help with a little magic, but Avalon insisted she did not need help," says Willow.

I laugh because Willow did offer to help us set up. Apparently, she wanted to add a little extra something to the outdoor area. She said that she could have made flower arrangements. I am not surprised because Willow is a Fae they possess nature magic. She told me about her clans parties and even showed me picture. Her beautiful flower creations would put florists or party planners to shame. Everything was very beautiful, but I have a better idea when to ask for her help.

"Thank you Willow but I want to save your tallent for the spring festival," I say.

Embers eyes twinkle, "Oh!! That is such a good idea Avalon!"

Willow giggles," I suppose I will have to wait until then, but can we start planning early?"

Willow seems like a perfectionist and I like that. This festival was put on my somewhat last minute. However, I want to go all out and have enough planning time in the future.

"I like that sound of that, and we can start planning in March," I say.

Willow hums and the nods her head in agreement. "That gives us enough time".

Noir looks over at Willow with a glint in her aqua colored eyes. She is part Druid, so I am not surprised that she wants to befriend the Fae. From what I have read from old history books, Druids have powerful nature magic. They even taught the ancient Fae magic. Hybrids are not as powerful as full blooded Druids. However, they are still powerful and Noir's connection to nature is strong. Her other half is a tengu and they tend to connected to nature as well.

"Umm would I be able to help out? I think our magic combined could pull off some fantastic decor," says Nlor.

I laugh as I look at the bright  twinkle of stars that appear in Willow's bright green eyes. She seems to excited to have a buddy.

"Ooh! I would love that! It's not the same letting my magic flow without Wisteria. It would take me much longer by myself," said Willow.

"We could divide up the tasks so that it's not too much of a magic overload," replies Noir.
