Rodrick Moore 9:00 pm The Sanctuary
I was at "The Sanctuary" nightclub sitting at the table drinking my cup of Hennessy as I listened to the poet that was on stage doing his poetry. I wasn't here by myself my brother, Damien, my bestfriend, David, and Damien's fiancée, Joy.
They were having a conversation on how men can get women. I don't know why or how the topic came up but I just tuned them out and continued listening to the poet.
"Man I don't need poetry to get women" David said smacking his teeth.
"No, you need a personality to get women" Joy said to David. I started chuckling at their conversation.
"Try a breath mint and a visa" Damien added while laughing with Joy. David just mugged at them.
"Yeah Yeah whatever, I actually got this girl coming by the nightclub to check it out, she's bringing some friends as well" he said.
I smacked my teeth at him. "If you say so" he just shrugged and got up from the table getting ready to go up the stage to make an announcement.
I got up as well getting ready to head to the bar to order another drink. I told Damien and Joy that I'll be back.
