In the distance, there were suddenly lots of howls and barking, signalling all the wolf pack was back. From the direction of the sea, the sweet chorus of the mermaid's singing voices could be heard, the cheering and twinkling of the elves echoing through the air and by every second a new pack of creatures came back until they were all back where they belonged, free to run and hide without being behind glass and in cages.

As the celebrations happened, each person going around and hugging the other, Namjoon and Jin remained in a hug a little longer, pulling away as they shined the brightest smile at one another.

"You were so strong through all of this" Namjoon complimented Jin who's ears began to blush bright red.
"No I think-"
"Jin, take the compliment, you're an amazing person" Namjoon spoke, Jin rolling his eyes.
"I know that" He smirked sassily as they laughed and shared yet another hug.

"Tae!" Taehyung turned, making eye contact with his best friend as the two ran at one another and collided in a hug.
"I can't believe it" Jungkook murmured into his shoulder.
"We always said we wanted adventures-"
"And now we've actually lived in one" Taehyung broke away as he finished off the sentence.
"For some reason, I don't really wanna do it again" Jungkook laughed, Taehyung agreeing, wrapping his arms around him.

"Look who's back!" Jin smirked as he saw Jimin was back to his normal form, Jimin rushing over and cuddling his best friend and leader.
"I'm here to annoy and bother you again" Jimin smiled cheekily.
"Honestly, so long as you don't leave us again, I'm more than happy to put up with that" Jin smiled back, cuddling him as tight as he could.

"We really are back aren't we?" Yoongi remarked from the side as Hoseok nodded his head happily.
"Why, are you wanting to go back to the other world?" Hoseok teased.
"Hell fucking no!" Yoongi grimaced at the idea.
"I'm running as freely as I want" Yoongi smirked as he jumped into wolf form before taking off running around the trees as fast as he could, Hoseok laughing before he too rushed after him.

Namjoon and Taehyung laughed as they began to play fight, both sharing a glance at one another before they couldn't help but run in. The four of them rolled over one another, playfully snapping and growling, running about as they howled and snarled as much as they wanted, as freely as they wanted.
Jin, Jimin, Jungkook and Ailee admired from a distance, laughing at their friends.
"I would join in, but their game might be a bit rough for me" Jungkook remarked, the others sniggering at him.
"Yeah, I mean, you are human" Jin teased.

"Kookie!"

He turned around at the sound of that familiar voice that had kept him going through all of this, his bunny smile forming on his lips as without hesitation he ran over and swooped the vampire girl he had fallen for off her feet, swinging her around.

"I can't believe you did it!" Jennie exclaimed as he put her back down, the two staring at one another and he couldn't help but admit he had missed those blood red eyes.
"It wasn't just me, I-"
Jungkook was cut off as she leaned up and kissed his lips for the first time since they met.

As soon as they broke away, Jungkook became a blushing mess as she giggled at his shy and adorable reaction.
"I mean you managed to protect me so you did your job just right" She told him before they pressed their lips together in a deep kiss.

The wolves seemed done with their play fight, the four turning back into human form as they playfully shoved one another about, laughing and joking before they rejoined the group, Namjoon instantly heading to Jin as Taehyung rushed to Jimin.
Hoseok and Yoongi noticed the new couple who's lips stayed attached as they savoured the moment, knowing they could start a life together.

"And that's another couple to add to the list" Hoseok noted from the side, watching how Taehyung and Jimin were currently wrapped up in each other's arms as well.
"We're surrounded by couples and here we are two of the loneliest people ever" Yoongi sighed almost sadly, only for that to cause an awkward tension.

Hoseok flickered his eyes between Yoongi who was stood at the side of him and the ground, un sure of what to do in this silence.

As he went to break it, suggesting an idea that he'd had in his head for a long time.
"Hoseok it's a no from me" Yoongi told him, not even sparing him a glance, but he could tell Hoseok's face had fallen from hopefulness to sorrow very quickly.
"For the moment"

Hoseok's head whipped to Yoongi who was looking at him with a small smirk.
"Who knows how I might feel in the future" He told him and that was a good enough answer for Hoseok who smiled his famous sunshine smile.

"So guys, everything is back to normal" Namjoon smiled contently at his group of friends.
"How are we going to celebrate?" Jungkook asked.
"I heard from Jihyo there's a huge party tonight, everyone is invited" Jennie notified them all.
"It would be wrong for you guys not to be there, you did just save the world after all"

"A party sounds perfect to me" Hoseok nodded his head in approval.
"We best start getting ready if we wanna look good" Yoongi sighed.
"Speak for yourself, I always look good" Jin sassily commented, the group laughing before heading off to go and get ready.

Jimin and Taehyung walked hand in hand through the forest, not far behind their friends when Jimin seemed to stop, turning as if he could hear something in the distance in the direction they just came.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked with concern, his anxiety instantly sky rocketing.
"Yeah, why don't you go ahead? I'll catch up with you" Jimin smiled as he was about to head back that way, but Taehyung clung to his arm, Jimin seeing the scared look in his eyes.
"Tae, I'll be okay, I promise" Jimin cupped his face, kissing his lips as a way to reassure him.
"If you want you can wait here and I'll be back in a minute" Jimin told him, Taehyung sighing nervously before nodding his head, slowly letting go of Jimin who hurried off into the woods.

His emotions were high as he was on extreme high alert, Jungkook coming back to join him when he noticed Taehyung was waiting back for Jimin and he knew he was going to be on edge.
What if something happened to him? What if he lost him again? He couldn't bare the thought.
"He's coming back Tae" Jungkook reassured him.

Like Jimin said, a few moments later, he came out of the trees, hurrying over to the both of them who were waiting as they both saw the relief physically wash over Taehyung's face, his body now relaxing as it was once very tense.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked, Jimin taking his hand as they began to walk back to the wolf lair to get ready.
"Yep" Jimin spoke with a small smile on his face, and Taehyung knew he was keeping something from him.
"What is it?" Taehyung pushed for an answer, but Jimin just gave him a cheeky smile like he knew something Taehyung didn't.
"It's nothing, but we have to go somewhere before the party tonight" Jimin smirked
"Where?" Taehyung asked
"Don't worry" Jimin assured him
"You'll see"

Guys. One chapter left.
I think this may be my favourite series of books I've ever written and I'm finally saying goodbye to it.
