Sage's POV
I was walking down the roads on my way back to the orphanage. It was a sunny day and the air felt nice. So I decided to take a walk earlier. I started to sing Something Just Like This by the Chainsmokers. I love singing and writing my own songs.

On my way back I heard voices from a distance. I looked around for a minute until I saw them. There were five boys talking and walking on the end of the road. They looked like they were heading to the orphanage.

I was getting nervous hoping they wouldn't see me. That's when I decided to the take the long way back. I started running the opposite way hoping they didn't see me.

Oh right, let me introduce myself. My name is Skyler but I go by Sage. I was born in Kentucky, but then my family and I moved to Britain. My parents were in the military and really loving, but sadly they died in a car wreck by a drunk driver when I was 7. My older brother and I were sent to an orphanage but then we got adopted by two men. The men abused us for three years. My brother would do anything he could do to protect me. One night they were really drunk and shot my brother. They then grabbed me and dropped me from the top of a staircase, giving me a severe concussion. (This now causes me to pass out easily) The men were then arrested and I got sent back to the orphanage.

I was broken ever since. I became mute for a long time, but I do talk now. That's when I decided loving people would be hard. My world was gone. The only thing I have now is my passion for singing.

Harry's POV
The boys and I were going to the orphanage to adopt a girl. I would be the one adopting her. I have been waiting for this moment for a while and the day has finally come.

We finally made it and the boys and I walked in. We were greeted by a young lady who looked like she was in her late twenties. She introduced herself as Ms. Waters. She led us into a room and told us to wait here.

"Girls from ages 7-12 please come down," Ms. Waters called from the bottom of a staircase.

Then there were about six or seven girls who came down and formed a line in front of the boys and me. It looked like youngest to oldest. This is a small orphanage I thought, but there seemed to be more boys than girls.

Sage's POV
Ms. Waters called us girls ages 7-12 down the stairs. I followed closely behind the rest of them and then took my spot in line. I quickly looked up and saw there were the boys from earlier. Then I put my head down and just looked at my shoes.

One of the boys stopped in front of me and bent down to my height.

"Hi sweetie, what's your name?" he asked me.

I didn't even look up and just ran upstairs to my little room.

Louis's POV
I said hi to a little girl and asked her name, then she just ran scared.

"I didn't mean to frighten her," I stated to the other boys and Ms. Waters.

"Oh, that's Sage. She's just scared" Ms. Waters told us. "I will go speak to her and then you all can go talk to her."

Ms. Waters then left us and went upstairs. I think Harry and the other boys said they wanted to adopt Sage.

Sage's POV
I was laying on my bed thinking about what just happened. Then I heard a knock on my door, and Ms Waters came in.

"Darling it's ok," she said. "I know you are scared but the boys want to talk to you again. I think they are going to adopt you."
