Monster au story

Just some backstory I wrote for the Monster au from the last book

What time is it? What year is it? How long have I been here for? Am I asleep? This has to be another dream. I couldn't move I couldn't feel anything. It was like all my senses were turned off. Am I dead? This is what I deserve after what I did to Doc isn't it. Who's Doc again? It was at that moment I realized that I didn't even know my own name. Who am I?

"Hello?" Is someone talking to me? I guess my hearings back then. "Hello!?" I tried to respond but felt like something was holding my mouth shut. "Oh you're a talking boosh?" Talk? I didn't talk? Did he here what I was thinking? "Yes?" I thought hopping he would hear me. "Oh good, you seem like a nice boosh".

It felt like days passed tho it was probably just a few hours since I've met this mystery man and started having a kind of one way conversation with him. We mainly about random things like how he was summoned here through a portal and lives outside a government facility (kinda scared if he's a human)

Until it felt something strange almost leaf like but fleshy? It was that moment I realized I could feel things again. Soon all my other senses came back until I could see where I was, my vision was obstructed by some strange leaves tho. Where am I exactly? Am I stuck in a bush? I then realized I could move again and tried to bush my way out of this strange shrub that I was stuck in until I fell face first on the ground

"Boosh are you ok?!" The man cried out "I'm fine but I'm not a bush" I said stubbornly."Well you were a boosh when I found you" the strange voice said

I looked back to see a near perfect bush statue replica of me (besides the hole I've made) surrounded by a beautiful garden outside an amazing looking house. Is this where I've been all this time?

"Excuse me boosh but you're still lying on the ground, do you need help getting up?" "I guess" I said grabbing a hold of the mystery man's hand When looked up to see him it was clear that this man was not human (which was a relief). He had two big entina coming out of his head, huge eyes, some of that weird bug fur on his neck, and two huge moth wings. I could've sworn that I've seen him before in a dream, when was the last time I slept? "Boosh are you ok?" The moth man asked It took me a while to realize that I really wasn't

I was scared and confused about where I now am and for some reason hated my self for what I did to the man that I've sadly forgotten about, even if I don't fully remember what I did to him. "Yah" I answered clearly lying. "You don't seem ok Boosh" he responded clearly knowing that I wasn't ok

"Will you stop calling me that!" I said in an annoyed tone. Im not a bush even if I was probably stuck in one for who knows how long. "Oh, ok well my name is Keralis, what's yours?" He said

I thought for a minute, who am I?

Then I remembered

"My name is Bdubs the Dryad, a pleasure to meet you"

I need sleep
