It was the day of Jamaines homecoming, Alazae was in her room doing her makeup while haileigh straightened her hair.

Haileigh: I find it so unfair how you have two boys going after and probably more that you don't know and I barely have any
Alazae: you had 3 boys fighting over you .....
haileigh: zae...they weren't very attractive and they were arrogant.

After Alazae finished doing her hair and makeup, her mother came upstairs to help her into her dress.

Alazaes was going to wear a glittery silver open back dress to match the masquerade diamond theme of the dance.

While putting on her dress Alazaes phone dinged, praying it wasn't Jamaine telling her he was outside she picked it up to see a message from Lucas.

Lucas💫: hey, You getting ready ?
Zae💋: yea I'm getting dressed right now
Lucas💫: it's crazy to me how you agreed to go with a dude from ANOTHER school 🙄 but it's cool I guess
