~Chapter 11~

Amy's POV~

I was sobbing, unable to contain the hurt I was feeling. But then...........

...................I heard crunching behind me.

I quickly looked up and turned around. My eyes widened in fear. Jack was standing there. I quickly shot up, and started backing away again. "St-St-Stay away f-from me!!" I cried, hearing the fear in my voice. "Amy, wait!" Jack called desperately, walking towards me, "Please, let me explain-" "N-NO!!" I shouted, cutting him off. "ST-ST-STAY BACK!" I backed up against a tree, feeling my back hit the bark of the tree. I was about to run, but he pushed me against the tree and placed his hands beside my head, trapping me. I was cornered. I was trembling, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. "Amy, plea-" The next words I said just slipped out of my mouth. "G-GET AWAY FROM ME YOU M-MONSTER!!!!" I opened my eyes, and my heart stopped. Jack.......his eyes went dark. My heart sank. When he looked at me.....

........his eyes were full of anger.

Laughing Jack's POV~~

I pushed her gently against the tree, trapping her so she couldn't run. I wanted to explain. "Amy, plea-" I couldn't even finish my sentence.

.......Her next words......hurt me........

"G-GET AWAY FROM ME  YOU M-MONSTER!!!!" I stared at her, my eyes widened. She.........she called me......a monster. I felt my heart break. I closed my eyes, and said nothing. I could feel myself boiling with anger. Without even realizing it, I grabbed her by her neck and slammed her against the tree. "AGH!!!" She choked, and I started squeezing her throat. I couldn't control myself. She began choking for air, and looked at me with tear filled eyes. "J......J.......a........a.....c.......k........" I heard her wheeze and she pulled at my arms. "W........Wh.........Wha.........a.........t.........a.........ar.........are..........y..........y.........ou..........d..........do.........o.........ing..........?" I was screaming in my mind to stop!! But......I couldn't. I........I was so hurt.......I couldn't stop......My grip only tightened more, and she was struggling even more. "I.........I..........c.........ca...........a.........n..........n't..........b............b..........re...........e..........at..........he..........!" I was screaming in my mind, begging and pleading myself to stop. But I was so hurt and so angry.........I had no control.

Amy's POV~

All of a sudden, without warning, Jack's hands quickly grabbed my throat and he slammed me against the tree, hard. "AGH!!!" I gasped and he started squeezing my throat. I grabbed his arms, desperately trying to pull him off. He was suffocating me. "J.........J..........a.........a..........c.........k........" I wheezed, tears slowly falling down my cheeks once more. "W.........Wh.........Wha..........a.........t.........a.........ar..........are...........y..........y.........ou..........d..........do.........o.........ing..........?" I could see the rage and hurt in his eyes, but he didn't let go. Instead, his grip only tightened. I clawed at his arms and I desperately tried to get him to let go, but to no avail as his grip only tightened. "I.........I.........c...........ca.............a..........n...........n't............b..........b...........re...........e.........at.........he..........!" I slowly saw darkness in the corner of my eyes. I was slipping away. I closed my eyes, and waited for the inevitable.

..............But it never came.

The grip on my neck loosened, and I was let go. I fell to the grass floor, and gasped for air. Jack......he let me go. I choked and gagged, taking in large amounts of air. Carly was at my side, and she looked up at Jack while I cried. "What did you do?" I heard her ask in an angry tone.

Laughing Jack's POV~~

My grip tightened around her throat, and she pulled at my arms. She was trying to get me to stop. But I couldn't. I couldn't control myself. I was screaming in my mind at myself to stop, but I didn't listen. She was close to dying, and she closed her eyes. But finally.........I snapped out of it and I let her go. She dropped to the floor, holding her throat and gasping for air. Carly ran past me and fell to her side. Carly looked up at me, and her eyes were full of anger. "What did you do?!" I didn't answer her. "A........Amy........" I muttered. "I........I didn't mean-" I reached a hand out to her, but she quickly turned away from me and sobbed. I looked at my hands, my face dark. What have I done........? Amy looked up at me, and my heart shattered.

..............They were full of fear. I backed away from her, and turned my back. "I.......I think I should stay away......." I muttered, feeling myself shake slightly. "I......I don't want to hurt you......" I turned to her one last time, and her eyes met mine. She was terrified of me. ".......I'm........sorry......." Finally, I teleported away and back to my carnival. I slammed my hand against one of the prize stands. I had lost the only friend who I cared about. The ONE friend who cared about me. My eyes started watering up, and I let a few tears slide down my face. I could only think of one thing.

........What had I just done?
