~Chapter 22~

3 months later (June)~~

Amy's POV~

I slowly opened my eyes, rubbing them lightly. Once my eyes had adjusted, I looked down to see familiar arms wrapped around my belly and gently rubbing my stomach. It was Jack. ".......Hi Jackie." I giggled, as I looked up to see Jack smiling. "Hi Lollipop~" He purred, and gently kissed me. "Morning~" I giggled, before I gently got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. Once inside, I took my hairbrush and brushed my hair gently. It's been three months since I found out I was pregnant. My chief gave me desk duty until my baby was born so I was stuck sitting at my desk at work, bored out of my mind. My mom comforted me, telling me desk duty wasn't so bad but it was! I was missing ALL the action and thrills! I missed chasing after crooks and criminals! But Jack......He was so sweet. He cheered me up when he saw how sad and bored I was at work. My little sister Sarah was excited and kept asking me everyday if I was having a boy or a girl, but I told her every time I didn't know. I wanted it to be a surprise. Jack also wanted to be surprised as well. I smiled before rubbing my stomach. I giggled softly as I felt a small kick. Just as I finished, I felt arms wrap around me. I knew it was Jack. I smiled as I was pulled against him gently. I gave a smile as I looked down to see him rubbing small circles on my belly, causing the baby to kick gently. "I'm gonna go for a little walk." I heard Jack sigh before he turned me around to face him. "I don't know if its a good idea to go alone Amy." "I'll be fine! Trust me!" I smiled as I laughed softly. He sighed before he kissed me gently. "Alright, but be careful. I don't want you to get hurt or in trouble." I smiled warmly at him. "I promise I will be careful." I snuggled him in a hug, before I chose my outfit. Since it was a little warm out, I decided to wear a t-shirt, some jeans and black shoes. I walked down my stairs and up to the front door before I gently opened it and stepped outside. We waved goodbye to each other, and I went on my walk. I decided to walk through the park for a little, and saw many children running around playing together. Some were in groups and others were in either three's or pairs. I smiled, as I always loved kids. 

After walking for what seemed like an eternity, I checked my phone for the time. It was 4:00. I was out for two hours? Jeez. I decided to head back, as I didn't want Jack to worry about me and it was also getting late out. I was walking along the trail for not even five minutes when something suddenly covered my face. It looked like a white cloth, and it smelled sweet. I struggled, but slowly my eyes started closing. The last thing I remember seeing was a man with a white mask wearing a brown hoodie and had blonde hair. "This is payback Jack........" was the last thing I heard before my eyes closed and everything went dark.

Laughing Jack's POV~~

I looked up at the clock and it was 5:30 already. She should've been back already. "Amy, where are you?" I muttered, feeling anxious. Amy was usually back by now. I was getting really worried. "Um, Carly?" I peeked into Amy's room and called Carly's name. "Yeah?" I heard her shout back. "What's up?" "Amy should have been back by now, and I'm getting worried. Can we just go look for her?" Carly stepped out and gave me a shoulder punch. "Sure. Just let me get my shoes on." I watched as she disappeared, but quickly came back. "Let's go." And so we started looking around outside. We looked everywhere. The forest, Amy's special spot, the park, EVERYWHERE! But we couldn't find her. My heart began racing as my chest started to hurt. Amy, where are you? I thought as we kept looking. I was also worried about the baby too. What if Amy was hurt, and no one was around to hear her?? What if she was taken?! These thoughts ran through my mind constantly as I tried to keep myself together. I had to find her. I HAD to. I couldn't lose the one important person I held so dear to my heart. I couldn't lose her. I can't! I kept looking, along with Carly, as my worries increased each passing moment. Oh god Amy. Where are you??
