~Chapter 11~

............And saw Jack standing in my doorway.

Laughing Jack's POV~~

I was walking around my carnival, hands behind me and humming pop goes the weasel. Amy had been asking about my past recently, but.....I wasn't ready to tell her. I didn't want to lose her. She was my best friend, something I hadn't had in a long time. I kept avoiding the topic of my past to protect her. I was given a second chance, and I wasn't gonna lose it. I brushed the thought off quickly, and decided to pay Amy a visit. So, I quickly teleported to her bedroom door, and knocked. "Amy?" I called. "It's me, Jack!"

No response. "Amy?" I called again, but I noticed her door was unlocked so I stepped inside. As soon as I saw her, my heart dropped. She looked at me.....

...........and she looked terrified.

"A-Amy," I asked, feeling confused. "W-What's wrong?" I took only a step towards her, and in response she jumped out of her chair and backed away from me.

Amy's POV~

When Jack took a step towards me, I quickly jumped out of my chair and backed away from him. "S-S-Stay away from m-me." I stuttered, shaking with fear. I felt my heart thumping and beating loudly in my chest. I was so terrified. He looked confused.......but that was when he saw my phone on the ground. He bent down to see what I was looking at...........

..............and his eyes widened.

He knew that I read about his past. He looked up at me, his face shocked. "A-Amy......" He stuttered, taking a step closer. "P-Please......let me expla-" He didn't get to finish, for I pushed him aside and ran out with teary eyes. "AMY W-WAIT!!!" Jack shouted, but I didn't listen. I ran down the stairs and out the front door. I didn't care where I was going, but anywhere was better than being near HIM. After running for twenty minutes, I stopped to catch my breath. I looked up to see my surroundings and I realized that I was in my spot. It was a part of the forest no one knew about besides Carly and Lily. It was covered and hidden by trees, but once entering, it had a beautiful blue pond that sparkled in the sunlight. Roses and other flowers grew all around this area. I used this place as my escape zone, so if I had a bad day I would come here and let my feelings out. I sat down near the pond, curled up and finally let my emotions out. I started sobbing. I never felt so betrayed in all my life. My best friend, the one person I knew ever since I was little.......had lied to me. He was a killer, and he had kept this from me. I was just another victim to him when I met him. He was NEVER my friend! I was just another plaything to him! I didn't hold back at all, and I just let it all out.

Laughing Jack's POV~~

I stood there, frozen in shock. She......She had found out about my past. I felt my chest begin to hurt. I didn't want her to find out like this. I have to find her. I had to make things right. I quickly followed after her, but I lost track of her in the forest. I was panicking. No. No, no, no, no, no! I couldn't lose her. Amy was my second chance. I couldn't lose the ONE friend who cared about me! Not like this! I was just about to continue searching when I heard.......sobbing. I knew it was her. I quickly followed where it was coming from, and I finally saw her. I quickly approached her. As soon as she heard footsteps, she looked up and her eyes widened when she saw me.
