Third Person's POV
"We wanted to ask you about the scene earlier." Minyoung says, facing the head of the village with serious eyes.
After drinking a full jar of what was said to be purifying water, well drinking half of it and letting the rest fall into the floor, they were now in front of the head of the village whom they wanted to interview. The jar of water was supposed to be for purification due to the said to be salt present in the body. The forbid them to enter unless they got rid of the saltiness in their body by drinking a large jar of water. They were now burping from the excessive water.
-A big jar of water to get rid of impurities
"Nurse Kim worked for Doctor Park for a few years. She admires him so much." Woojong says with a proud smile.
-The nurse admires the doctor
"Were they romantically involved?" Minyoung asks.
"It's not that type of relationship." The head denies. "She just really admires him."
Minyoung nods at his answer, now knowing that they weren't in love. "But didn't the doctor's girlfriend died last year?" Jaewook asks the man.
The man snickers at the question, seems to not like the idea of the question. "Don't even mention that girl." He says, catching the attention of the detective.
-The girlfriend has a bad image?
"What's wrong?"
"Everyone just doesn't like that girl. She's bad influence for our doctor. She just gives up a bad feeling to everyone." Woojong answers, showing disgust on his face.
-Hatred towards the girl
"Why is that?" The detectives ask.
"I don't know but-" Woojong was cut by Jaewook continues burp, making everyone laugh.
-Too full
"He must not be feeling well." The head says, seeing the detective feel bad at the continuous burps.
"It just keeps on coming." The detective answers with an embarrassed smile, the other detectives smiling at him.
"You're being purified." The head of the village says, then goes back to the topic. "Anyways, the girl died and I felt sad when she did."
"But I thought that it was for the best!" He suddenly exclaims, thinking about the past scenarios. "She had a really bad attitude and it wasn't good for our Doctor Park."
-Strong hatred? But why?
"They don't get along?" Minyoung questions, making Woojong snicker.
