Landing Secrets

The DAY.

I woke up early trying not to disturb mom.

The maids served breakfast to which I had a small portion of before father came to the table.

"Have a good day." I stood up leaving. So much for a warm welcome.

As I walked outside I spotted my chauffeur already there.

"Goodmorning Miss, where to?" My chauffeur greeted me.

"To-"

*ring**ring*

"Yeoboseyo?" I answered the unknown number.

"I'm sorry to wake you Miss Ara, we have a slight problem with the contracts for our actors" Soojin called me.

"How slight?"

"Our actors are being mistreated and one of the lawyers found alarming fine print"

"I'll be there in 30min. Set up the conference room" I hung up and sent a text to tell Se-ri I wouldn't show up. I felt bad but in this family, business is priority. "Take me to the company"

"Yes miss"

We drove the company after I remembered I needed to change into more suitable clothes, unlike my siblings I like to dress like people my age and not always like a rich person like them.

I went into the conference room getting straight to work. We talked about various issues concerning the contracts and mistreatment of some of my actors. I had video conference calls maybe until 2pm. We ordered lunch and I ate alone in my office.

*ring**ring*

"Yeoboseyo?" I wiped my mouth with a napkin.

"Miss Yara I have been trying to contact you" my lawyer sounded frantic.

"Sorry, I'm busy working. How is Sehyung taking it?"

"We let them go 20minutes ago. You need to head to XXxX Xxxxx right now, there was an accident with Se-ri"

I hung up. I called Soojin in telling her to take care of things until I get back. I got in a company car driving to the mountain.

As I got there I tried holding myself together. I got off putting my sunglasses on and heading over to the sergeant.

"Sir, have you found my sister?"

"No miss, we are doing all we can. There is 3 fatalities and 2 injured, we can't seem to locate your sister. Please excuse me" He walked off leaving me there standing.

I looked over and saw my brothers talking to someone else. I decided to talk to her employee.

"Why didn't you check the weather before letting her get up here?" I basically yelled at him.

"We did miss ara, she was too stubborn. If we had known there was going to be a tornado we wouldn't have let her go. I told her not to test the product herself" he wept holding onto my legs.

"You better hope we find her" i shook him off of me heading over to my brothers.

"You have some nerve coming here Ara. I can't believe you sued us" Sehyung fixed his glasses.

"You sued him? Guah, you're mean Ara" Sejoon pretended to scold me.

"I told you and Sang-ah to bring the papers last night. That's what you get for letting your wife manage you" I scooted closer to him.

"Then punish her not me too. She's the one with the ownership"

"Because I love you too much you stayed at the police station. Sang-ah actually stepped foot in jail" I put my hand over his shoulder.

They both looked at me surprised before Sehyung scolded me. I called my lawyer making sure we fixed all my house documents before letting Sang-ah leave jail.

I couldn't help but feel that Seri was alive. She has to be. I hired special investigators to look for her, my brothers seemed so happy she was gone it only made me angrier.

I spent the rest of the day at the sight instead of consoling my parents like my brothers and their wives.. I knew mom was unphased, she never liked Seri but it doesn't mean she's not worried for her. As for father well he is probably heartbroken but I'm not in the mood to be there and get made less by his rants.
