(It's getting colder here please send help I miss the sun. I feel better now but I'm still monitoring myself. My throat feels sore sometimes and sometimes it's not. Maybe it's because of the weather.

I'm so happy because I told my sister she should try learning a language while we're in lockdown. And she's starting to learn Korean. She's even the one who tells me she wants to start her lessons on LingoDeer each day.

This oneshot is inspired by the fact that winter is approaching and I can now wear my Hufflepuff scarf that I worked on for MONTHS! I mostly crochet though.

Also, sorry if I don't update frequently now T_T I hope everyone's doing well. Love you guys!)

You chuckled at the adorable expression in Legolas' face as he watched you unravel the ball of yarn and make a knot. When you picked up your knitting needles and started to cast on, he leaned closer and watched with knitted eyebrows.

"Don't tell me that you have never seen someone knit before?" you teased as you finished a row of stitches. "Careful or you'll end up cross-eyed."

He rolled his eyes at you. "I have seen someone knit before, meleth nin," Legolas said. "Forgive me if I seem strange, but it never ceases to amaze me how quickly your hands move when you knit or crochet."

"Oh darling, you don't look strange," you said. "But you do look adorable."

Legolas shook his head, a smile forming on his lips. When you continued knitting, he also continued to watch. Not long after he had taken the ball of yarn and unraveled it for you so you wouldn't have to stop and pull the yarn every now and then. The both of you worked in peace, talking about random things and how your days have been.

"But what is this that you are knitting?" Legolas asked when you had taken a break. It wasn't quite obvious to him as you have barely finished ten rows.

"It is a scarf," you answered. "It is getting quite cold and I thought it would be nice to make myself one. I have missed knitting. It is quite relaxing."

"It is," Legolas agreed. "Can you make me one as well? I promise I will help."

You looked at him with raised eyebrows. "I thought you are not quite sensitive to temperatures as I am, since you are an elf. I mean, I know you do get cold but you can endure it more than I can."

Legolas met your gaze with the most innocent look. Along with that was the sweetest smile that he only showed to you. "I just thought it would be nice to have matching scarves."

Blood rushed to your cheeks and you averted your gaze, trying to hide your blush. Legolas chuckled at your actions, sitting closer to you. He leaned closer, waiting for you answer.

"Alright, but you have to pay me," you muttered.

"What should I pay you with?"

"A date." You started to knit again. "And when we go on a date, we should wear our matching scarves."
