Jaylani POV:

I felt someone grab my arm and drag me somewhere. 

"I really don't like the way he looks at you Jaylani and the way you look at him... Its like you like him or something," Jahseh said, as he pushed me against a wall in an empty bedroom.

"Like him? Are you crazy? I love you, we just keep having random staring contests. And believe me, I don't like the way he's looking at me either," I replied.

"Do you know him or something? Is there something your hiding from me?" He asked. He looked hurt, and confused, but mad at the same time.

"Jah, you know I don't keep things from you." He just stared back at me. "No, is that what you want to hear? No, I don't know him, and I'm not hiding something from you."

He shook his head and walked away but I grabbed his hand and pulled him back. He turned back to me and before he could think I pulled him in by his hoodie and pushed him against a wall and kissed him. He, of course, kissed back, but it was hesitant. I connected my hand to the back of his neck and then ran my hand down his back and gripped the thick material of his hoodie. I then pulled away and he looked at me with a shocked smile.

"I-" I cut him off by wrapping my hand around his neck and going back in for a kiss. I roughly kissed him and then bit his lip, not removing my hand, then pulled away and walked out the door of the bedroom to tease him.

I walked back to where everyone was but they weren't there. And I started to head towards the stairs, passing Gus' room to see them all in his room, laying on his bed. All except for him and Tracy. Tracy was sitting in the chair and Gus stood up against the wall watching the tv. He looked sad like he was hurt, and tired and drained. He honestly looked like he could burst out crying at any second. I found myself staring until his eyes shot in my direction and we locked eyes. It suddenly felt like I couldn't breathe, and my whole body went numb. I found myself lost big deep brown eyes, they were filled with pain and sorrow, it was so obvious. But they had this sparkle to them that made me shiver.  He smiled a sad smile then went back to watching tv. 

"Hey J, come sit," Ayleks said, drawing my attention away from him. I nodded and I walked over to the huge bed on the floor and sat next to Trippe, who had Ayleks on his lap.

"You okay J?" Trippie asked me. I nodded.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine." I felt eyes on me, I looked over and once again locked eyes with Gus, this time he didn't look away, or smile, he just stared, losing himself in my eyes, while I lost myself in his. I felt the bed dip and I looked over to see Jah. My eyes met his and they looked sad. 

"I'm gonna go," he said and got up. I sighed and got up.

"Jah wait." I followed him all the way through the house until we were at the door and I grabbed his arm.

"Leave me the fuck alone Jaylani."
