Jaylani POV:

I woke up to Stokeley shaking me telling me to get up. I groaned and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth. After I hopped in the shower then I put on my supreme hoodie and joggers with black air force ones. Then did my hygiene routine and went downstairs to eat breakfast. Stoke tapped me on the shoulder and said: 

"Jahseh is driving you since you go to the same school."

 I thought Jahseh was like 20 I said, confused.

"Nah he's 17" Stoke replied.  I was kind of shocked Jahseh was short but he looked older than 17. 

Jahseh POV: 

I woke up to my alarm and shut it off I went to the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth. Then I put on my supreme hoodie jeans and black Air force ones. I got a bowl of cereal and scrolled through my Instagram. Mostly thots that want to fuck me. I mean after Geneva and I broke up I fucked random bitches because I was so broken not even caring that they liked me and I used them. I then got a text, it was from Stoke.

Stokeley Pokeley: 

Hey, can you drive Lani to school I'm going to the studio and you guys go to the same school. 

                                                                                                                                   Me: Yesh sure.

Stokeley Pokeley: Thanks vro

I walked outside and got in the car I honked the horn so Lani would come out. She came rushing throwing some things in her partially zipped supreme backpack. She looked flustered. I then realized she had on the same hoodie as me and same shoes and same Adidas socks. When she got in I stared at her. 

"Everyone's gonna think we're dating," I said, looking out the window.

 She looked confused. 

"We pull up together walk in together and now we're matching clothes. Maybe the'll think we're siblings," I said shrugging.

"We have to go I can't change I'm sorry Jahseh." She said. 

"It's okay maybe these girls will stop hitting on me."

Her face changed for some reason. 

Jaylani POV:

When he said that my heart dropped. I don't know why.  I felt kind of jealous, which I hated because he meant nothing to me.

He started the car and it started beeping. It sounded like the beginning of sad, a song He made a while back. Jahseh never was huge, look at me was big but then he kinda went ghost. 

"This sounds like the beginning of sad," I shoted. The windows were open and clusters of wind blew inthe car so it was hard to hear.

" It is, he said nonchalantly. 

"Really?" I asked. 

I was surprised, that was a really creative way of making a beat to a song. 

"mhm."

 turns out the school was 5 minutes away so we got there pretty fast. As soon as we got out people were staring at us. Girls were whispering, guys were taking pictures. Some people tried to talk to him but he ignored them. I mean Jahseh is famous so...  I shouldn't be surprised.

Turns out Jahseh and I had all of our periods together except 3rd  so he sat by me in all of them. I tried to sleep but I was distracted I could sense Jahseh staring at me and people kept spreading rumors about me. Some called me whore, slut, bitch, someone actually said: 

"I bet she doesn't give any to him I mean look at her she probably scared." 

 Tears started to fall down my cheeks but Jahseh lifted my head up with his hand and wiped my tears with his thumb.  

"Don't worry about them, they're all fake half of them can't keep their legs closed. I got you." He reassured me. I smiled and he rested his hand on my desk and I laid my head down on it and fell asleep. 

Jahseh POV: 

I heard the things people were saying about Lani and it made me feel bad. She was none of the things these girls were calling her. I looked over at her and realized she was crying. It made me sad so I wiped her tears and let her fall asleep on my hand. When the bell rand I gently shook her causing her to wake up. She had drooled a little on my hand but I didn't mind. I'm sorry, she said. I chucked, Your okay I replied wiping my hand on my shirt. I was kind of scared that me and Jaylani didn't have this period together but I knew Gazzy, Ayleks, Trippe, and Kodak were in that class so I introduced her to them and told them to sit by her in class. 

Jaylani POV: 

I was scared people would be mean to me but Jahseh reassured me that they wouldn't. He walked me over to a group of 3 boys and one girl. This is trippie, he pointed to a light-skinned boy with red dreads, This is kodak, he pointed to a boy with weird-shaped hair, then pointed to a boy with pink and white dreads, this is gazzy. "EESSKEETTITTT!!!!!" he yelled causing people in the halls to look at us.

 I giggled. And this is Ayleks she looked really creepy but cute her hair was long and bright yellow, it was definitely a wig. She looked me up and down and licked her lips. Maybe she's lesbian? Then trippie kissed her. Oh, maybe bi? 

"Wait. Your all rappers?? I asked realizing trippie was trippie redd kodak was kodak black and gazzy was lil pump. They looked at Jahseh then me.

 "Uh yeah They all said.

"Well.. I'm not I'm dating one though," Ayleks said, pulling Trippie into a kiss by grabbing his shirt.

 "Damn," I said. 

Ayleks laughed 

 "Sooo Jahseh is this your girlfriendddd?"

No, he replied awkwardly. This is JayLani."

 I nervously smiled.

 "People have been really mean to her and it's her first day. I don't have this class with her so can you guys sit with her and make sure nobody tries something?

 They looked at each other and nodded. I was nervous and a little relieved. When I walked into the room people started laughing but then they saw trippie kodak gazzy and Ayleks and started to get quiet.  Ayleks placed one hand on my shoulder and said "it's okay."

 She then screamed, "ya'll be nice to her or I'm finna beat ya'll ass." 

I chuckled.

I slept through class everyone was silent because of the entourage except the entourage they were laughing but I was bored until they started asking me questions.
