This story is about a girl called Clara McAdams who lives with her mum, Sarah. As her mum divorced Claras' dad due to drinking and abuse problems, they decided to start fresh from California and moved to Claras' Grandmothers' home town, Blackdowns. Clara's family once lived in this small town but moved to explore job opportunities and house offers.
As the story continues, new characters in the story will unfold as well as new settings.
