Chapter 14

Wait! As far as I remember, we agreed not to do any intimate actions towards each other especially on doing that 'thing' if no one sees us.

"Dion..." mahinang pagbigkas ko sa pangalan niya. I'm uncomfortable with his near presence.

His smell got my attention. Inamoy ko siya ulit na para akong aso bago siya tapatin, "Are you drunk?"

Now I know why he was fighting against me earlier.

Kahit alam ko na ang sagot, huminga ako ng malalim para pakalmahin ang sarili ko dahil nago-overthinking ako sa maari niyang gawin.

"Can we make a baby?" mahinang usal niya. Malamlam at namumula ang mga mata niyang nakatitig sa'kin.

Napasinghap ako sa direktang salita niya. Mabilis akong yumuko upang makaalis sa pagkaka-corner niya sa'kin but he immediately grabbed my fist.

"Dion, what are you doing? I'm on my period!" reklamo ko dahil halos matumba na ako sa kanya. He let go my hand when he realized he is being impulsive because of the alcohol.

He stared at me for about five seconds before leaving his unit without saying any single word.

"That was terrifying!" I exclaimed while catching my chest. I felt relieved. I was just gave him an alibi but the truth is, halos katatapos ko lang madatnan.

Mabilis akong pumasok sa kwarto ko at siniguradong naka-lock. Just incase he'll be back and force me to do it with him.

I decided to take a shower. It helps me to freshen up my mood and also, to think of other possible ways to avoid giving up what he wants from me.

Given that I don't know him well, somehow I was amazed that he did control of himself.

"Poor pretty woman," I sympathized myself while the cold water touching my bare skin.

But why is he drunk? Is it about his business or about someone?

I shook my head for the second thought. "This is not right. Rule number one for myself, never care for him!" I stated before leaving the shower.

Mabilis akong nagpalit ng damit pangtulog. And when I heard my tummy growls, maingat akong sumilip sa labas ng kwarto to check if he's already home. When no one is here aside from me, dumiretso na ako sa kitchen.

I placed my phone on the table and as I opened the fridge, there is nothing to eat as usual. Those are just in-can beverages and some sweets and chocolates.

I stopped searching for food. Tatakas na lang kaya ako? Hindi naman siguro niya malalaman and that's not committing a crime, right?

I shook my head. "Escaping is so tiring."

Naalala ko ang bagong biling oatmeal sa wall cabinet and it's too high to reach for a 160-centimeter height like me.

I finally held it but I suddenly felt nervous when I felt a warm breathe on my nape. Someone hugged me. I couldn't move my body and I only feel that my heartbeats are racing.

He pulled me closer to him and that was the time I get back to my senses, it is when I felt something that is hard on my butt.

"Ouch, why did you pushed me?!" he groaned while holding his left side that was pressed on the corner of the table.

Agad naman akong nag-panic at agad siyang inalalayan bago pa siya bumagsak sa sahig.

"You're drunk, right? If that so, ang alak sa tyan napupunta at hindi sa isip. You're scaring me," sermon ko but behind those brave tone, I was really scared that he might do something to me.
