Why Don't You Hate Me?

Next Morning

I woke up under the covers with Evan. I look to my right and see him lying on his stomach with his elbows on his pillow, holding up his phone as he scrolls on it. He runs a hand through his hair. Ughh he's so attractive. I lean over and kiss his jaw.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." He smiles as he puts his phone down.

"Good morning sexy..." I mumble. He blushes.

I giggle, "Cmon, we gotta get up." He smiles and stands up, followed by me.

Time Skip

"So... Tyler, Lui, and I take full credit for your guys' make up." Brock brags as we walk down the street together.

"What about me?" Luke asks.

"You were just threatening him." Lui laughs

"Tyler was too!" Luke argues

"Well I obviously encouraged him enough." Tyler smiles.

"I'm pretty sure I did it on my own." I intervene.

"You can't do anything on your own." Brian raises an eyebrow. I punch him in the arm.

"Guys, look" Marcel points to a circle of people watching something. We approach the circle and we push to the front, seeing Alexander and Julian arguing about something. I watch as Evan gets pushed into the circle with them.

"Oh look, another suspect." Alexander claims, looking at Evan with a furious expression.

"What are you talking about?" Evan asks

"Don't act dumb. We know it was probably you." Julian says, crossing his arms as him and Alexander glare at him.

"What?" Evan questions.

"Sydney was out last night and she wouldn't answer her phone. She said she was out with someone, but she wouldn't tell me who. So...Evan... care to explain?" Alexander steps closer to him.

"Look..." Evan looks up slightly, " I haven't dated Sydney since 8th grade. Why would I be out with her?"

"Who else would she be out with?" Julian asks him.

"How do you know it was a guy?" Evan asks

"Why would she have to lie about being out with a girl?" Alexander quizzes.

"I guess, but I don't even like Sydney."

"So who else would she be out with?" Alexander asks. Someone pulls my arm back and spins me around. Lui lets go of my arm and the guys all look at me.

"Jonathan just go" Brock tells me

"He's gonna hate me-"

"please" Scott begs.

I sigh, "Fine." I walk back into the crowd and into the circle.

"She was with me."

"What?" All three of them ask.

"We went to the park last night and she kissed me." I admit. They all stare at me with furious expressions, except for Evan. I've never seen him so heartbroken.

"Ev I'm sorr-"

All he does is shake his head before he walks away.

Time Skip

I sit on the counter as Brock cleans up all of my scars and bruises.

"Dang, he really messed you up..." Tyler mumbles. I sigh.
