Don't Take Him

Next Morning

I woke up early today. 5:26am. I'll get ready anyways. I put on my clothes and brush my hair in my mirror. I wonder if Evan is up. I walk out of my room and over to his. I knock on it softly.

"Come in" He says. I open the door and close it behind me.It seems like we had the same idea about getting dressed. I sit next to him on his bed.

"How come you're up early?" I ask

"I didn't sleep last night."

"Why not?"

"I don't know. I just kept thinking."

"Oh."

"What about you?" he questions

"Just a coincidence." he nods. We decide to go to school right now and the guys will meet us there when they're ready. I text Tyler to pick everyone up. Me and Evan make our way out of the front door and walk out.

Time Skip

Me and Evan sit at a bench while we wait for the guys to arrive. We've just been talking and laughing. Julian walks through the gates and walks over to us.

"Only two of you huh?" Neither of us respond. He hits Evan on his head. I hate when he messes with him.

"Now, if I wanted to, I could have me and my friends beat you up right now. But, I don't feel like it." he threatens

"What do you want?" I ask

"Wow, you actually speak? I just came to welcome you guys."

"Well, you can go now." Evan remarks

"I'll talk to you guys later. Have fun having s*x in the bathroom." Julian smirks then walks off. Evan sighs and rests his cheek in his hand.

"It'll be okay." I reassure him.

"I believe you."

"I love you."

"I love you too." He responds.

"Hey Jon, can you come with me for a few minutes?" Sydney says, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Uh, sure." I reply, standing up and walking with her.

Evan's POV

He left. He left me alone without a second thought. And he left me for Sydney. Sydney. I guess it is what it is. He can talk to who he wants, and that might not be me anymore. Maybe the 'I love you's' are all fake. Maybe it was fake to begin with. Who knows.

I pull out my phone and go on 'BowMan'. I play until someone snatches it out of my hand. Julian. I stand up and chase him to my phone until he stands still and holds it above his head, to where I can't reach. I jump and shout at him to give it back, but he doesn't budge. I keep jumping until I'm lifted into the air on someone's shoulders. I look down and see Ryan. I smile at him and I snatch my phone from Julian. Ryan puts me down and I sigh. Julian flicks me in front of my throat and goes to sit with his friends. I greet my group of friends and we all sit down at a different table.

"Where's Jonathan?" Craig asks

"He left with Sydney." I mutter. They all go silent.

"He did... WHAT?!" Tyler exclaims

"He left you for Sydney?" Lui asks. I nod slowly. I can see the anger on all of their faces.

"Where did they go?" Scott questions

"I don't know." I reply. Brock sighs.

"Do you want to find him?" David asks. I put my knees to my chest.
