We live in a world that bombards us with the phrase, "Follow your heart, he knows the way". Literal if you put in Pinterest heart quotes the first thing that pops out is "Follow your heart, he knows the way". But when reading the Bible I see that my heart is not a reliable leader, it is more deceptive (Jeremiah 17:9).
That's why one day I can feel happy and the next one without the desire for anything. Can you relate?
Our heart was not designed to lead, but to follow its Creator. Don't live by deciding according to what "I feel" or "don t feel" but as you believe in faith. Don't follow your heart, follow Jesus; He is the way, the Truth and life. (John 14:6)
