Boredom Blooms Bruises
F/S = Favourite Show

Leaning against the arm of the sofa, I watched my F/S for what felt like 1000 times, the dialogue engraved into my brain by now. My long nails tapped on the surface repeatedly as I wished that Charlie had brought me with her. It was extermination day, a day where many demons died while others thrived in the depths of Hell, and yet here I was feeling sorry for myself as she and her 'friends' went to save demons from their untimely demise.

A frantic rap of knuckles were heard at the door and then silence plagued the atmosphere when I heard a noise as if a heavy object slammed against the door. Numerous thoughts were running through my mind, all centring around not opening that dreaded door because what kind of mad demon would be stupid enough to be out in the middle of an extermination?

Well, as curiosity got the best of me, I opened the door, to find the mad demon to be Sir Pentious. Sir Pentious, the 'hip', 'evil' supposedly next ruler of Hell was lying on my doorstep. Unconscious.

A quiet gasp left my mouth when I glimpsed at the injuries he had sustained from the exterminators, his striped blazer drenched in his blood. Just then, I felt a tinge of sympathy for the snake, a feeling strong enough for me to drag him inside into the lobby of the hotel. I carefully pulled his blazer over his shoulders to reveal a wound across his chest, the blood running in thick scarlet rivers over his undefined muscles, leaving the blazer discarded on the floor. Bruises and cuts adorned his shoulders as I traced my finger around each injury that he probably sustained from trying to escape the wrath of the exterminators, he was lucky to still be here, but he won't be for long if I didn't do anything about that nasty wound.

Normally, I would be embarrassed about the nature of the situation, but there wasn't much time to toil with unnecessary feelings when some demon's life(?) is in balance as I went to fetch the ancient first aid kit we kept in the reception. I managed to cease the bleeding, placing the bandages around Pentious' torso; this proved to be quite a difficult task, trying to keep the unconscious snake upright while bandaging his wounds.

At that moment, my phone buzzed, my eyes darted to the device as the text read 'we're coming home now! :D' from Charlie. I started panicking, what would they think when they suddenly saw a half naked (actually fully but nothing exposed, you know ;)) Sir Pentious with me? And what would that mean for Pentious? Alastor would probably destroy him before he was even able to heal from his previous injuries.

I sighed, redirecting the air-flow to my long hair. Briefly, my H/C hair fanned upwards before resettling over my eyes, taking my seemingly only course of action apart from throwing him out completely. Taking his arm, I wrapped it around my shoulders, proceeding to do the same with the other arm, so he could have a somewhat strong grip on me. I attempted to pick up his tail next, utilising all my strength to bring his lower body aligned with the rest of his body in a bridal hold.

Now began my difficult journey of getting him up the stairs to my room, where he could rest peacefully without being disturbed by a flirty Angel, a murderous Alastor and a fuming Vaggie. With some struggle, I placed him on my bed, pulling the covers over him in a motherly manner, being content with his current state, I decided to take a quick nap on the covers of my bed, situated next to him.

I felt myself drift into the comforting darkness of sleep, when I was abruptly woken up for what seemed like a second after I fell asleep. Becoming instantly pissed at whoever decided it was a good idea to wake me up, I rubbed my eyes, trying to rid them of the sleep that plagued me. I became face to face with a certain snake, an unreadable expression on his face, a mixture of confusion, anger and embarrassment as a slightly darker blush dotted his cheeks.

Realising the position I was currently in, I attempted to explain but all I could do was stutter until Sir Pentious snapped out of his paralysed state and bombarded me with a plethora of questions, the sole subject being where he was.
'All I remember was running out to get some screws because those idiotic chicken foetuses couldn't possibly get the right ones, since that was too difficult of a task for their little minds to comprehend!' He cleared his throat, 'It was quite odd, the streets were practically deserted when I saw a spear being thrown towards me.. oh.' The snake then realised what had happened.

'You saved me?'

He seemed as surprised as I was when it finally registered, why did I save him? An unexpected warmth rushing to my cheeks as I contemplated the question for a moment when I decided I wanted to be a witty bitch,
'Well, you were dying on my doorstep, and that'll reflect badly on the hotel's reputation'.

But what I didn't account for was Sir Pentious' out of character reaction when he got noticeable closer, to the point that I could feel his cold breath on my lips.

'Are you s-s-sure that's the only reason?' He whispered in a seemingly seductive tone, staring straight into my eyes.

As much as I wanted to back the fuck away, I decided to play his little game. I smirked, mimicking his tone of voice, growing closer, essentially pinning him against the edge of the bed.

'Maybe I would have missed you if you died.. again,' I sighed lightly, my finger resting on his chest. That was the exact second when Sir Pentious' feigned demeanour became crashing down, his cheeks burned a bright red as he opted to avert his eyes, but not bothering to remove my finger on his chest.

But that wasn't the only thing to come crashing down, the door to my room was opened with no regard for the status of its use, to show Charlie, Alastor, Angel, Vaggie and Husk.

'What are you doing?' Charlie queried, unable to decide what to think of the situation.

'And why is Sir Pentious here?' Vaggie scoffed.

I glanced over at Husk to see him holding up a certain garment, a certain blazer, belonging to a certain snake, that was currently dangerously close to me.

'We getting a little frisky in the bedroom are we?' Angel grinned, sneaking a look at the shirtless snake.

I began to protest, Sir Pentious uttering words of objection to Angel's claim when he interrupted us to state a rather incriminating part of 'evidence'.

'Those hickey marks on Edgelord's shoulders say otherwise..'

'They're not hickeys! They're bruises!' I yelled, trying to salvage the situation from being any more awkward.
But of course this was unachievable, with Angel's constant stream of suggestive questions,
'Bruises from what exactl-'

'JUST GET OUT!'

Well she didn't deny it.
