(Jon POV)
Jon sighed, standing outside his new workplace with Davis. Davis kept scanning the building. "Thanks again, Davis," Jon grinned, turning to his friend, "Y'know, for getting the job with me." Davis shrugged. "We needed to get out of Fazbear Entertainment anyways," Davis huffed. He turned towards the building in front of them, "So, we going inside, or...?"
Jon furrowed his brows, unsure. "It's been a couple of years since we had a job like this. We're guards, Davis, we could die. But sure. It's not like we were any better in Bryan's situation."
"Fair point." Davis nodded, walking forward to open the door. "After you," Davis grinned, stepping out of the way while holding the door to let Jon pass. Jon bit his lip, warmth flushing his face. He quickly walked inside, holding the door for Davis as he came in. Jon calmed down, his face cooling off. Mainly because it was actually kind of cold in the building. A woman approached them, a visor over her eyes. "Are you Jon Moyers and Davis Invisible?" She asked. Jon cleared his throat and responded, "Yes, that's us."
"Good. I'm Callie, but I'm sure you won't be seeing much of me. I'm here to escort you to the Doctor that'll be training you." Callie smiled. "Follow me, please." She led the way down a hallway with several doors that had signs beside them. Jon spotted a break room as they were walking.
{~Small Timeskip: When They Got To Their Destination.~}
Callie opened the door and motioned for them to go inside. Davis walked ahead of Jon, which made Jon quickly walk after him.
When they got into the room, there were four other people in there as well. One was obviously the Doctor, he had a lab coat on and everything. The other three were hard to tell. Two of them were both wearing a purple outfit with a black vest, and another had stains all over what seemed to be his overalls. The door closed behind Jon, and the doctor turned to them with a smile. "Ah, you must be the new recruits!"
Jon nodded and Davis mumbled, "Yeah." In response. "Well, that's great! I'm Dr. Patience, and these three are Cory, Crystal, and Cole! You'll be working with them for a bit." Dr. Patience seemed giddy as he spoke. Dr. Patience turned around and began to work on something. "For now, you five can converse while I get this finished. Cory, Cole, Crystal, see if you can answer any questions they have."
"Alright, Dr. Patience," Cory responded, turning to Jon and Davis with a grin on his face. Jon flinched a bit, realizing that Cory and Davis were alike- Davis had no face, and Cory had a camera for a face. Jon tried not to stare. "Well, there probably isn't much to talk about, except for the new SCPs that got sent in not even a month ago." Crystal mentioned. Cory swung around. "Why won't anybody tell me what they are!? Everybody keeps talking about the batch of new SCPs, but they won't tell me!" Cory whined, crossing his arms. Jon tilted his head. "I'd like to know as well." He chimed in.
"Well, the batch of SCPs that were brought in were SCP-5000 to SCP-5009. I've heard that most of them have a connection with each other somehow." Crystal stated, sitting on one of the rolling chairs near her.
"What are their classifications?" Cole asked.
"Well, most of them are Euclids. I'm pretty sure it's SCP-5000, SCP-5003, SCP-5005, SCP-5006, and SCP-5008 that are those. A couple of them are Safe-Class, such as SCP-5004 and SCP-5002. And there are even three Keter ones, SCP-5001, SCP-5007, and SCP-5009." Crystal explained, counting them off on her hands as she spoke. "I heard SCP-5001 had to be handcuffed to the wall, is that true?" Cole asked Crystal, who replied with a nod. "Yes, he was trying to attack anybody who got near him, so they had to take precautions," Crystal responded. "Does anybody know if the rumor that SCP-5001 and SCP-5002 are related is true?" She asked. Cory shrugged.
"Indeed, the rumor is true!" Dr. Patience but in, making Jon jump. Davis snickered. "SCP-5001 is apparently the father of SCP-5002, but they're not the only ones that are related! SCP-5000 and SCP-5003 actually created SCP-5004 in the last foundation they were in! Apparently, it was from a failed experiment between the two, but the outcome was quite interesting."
"Oh," Cory mumbled. "Wait, you've seen them?"
"Yes!" Dr. Patience grinned widely. "In fact, I was just about to go over them all with the new recruits! Why don't you three tag along?" Dr. Patience suggested, grabbing his clipboard as he walked away. Jon and Davis rushed after him, Cory, Crystal, and Cole following them.
~
When they got to SCP-5007's containment cell, Dr. Patience pulled out his keycard and opened it, motioning for them to go inside. They all headed inside and Dr. Patience closed the door behind them. The room was small, white, and to their left upon entering the room there was a rack of rubber vests. Dr. Patience cleared his throat, "SCP-5007 has electric abilities and, as you already know, is a Keter. These vests are for protection. Please put them on, if not, you can't enter the room." Dr. Patience informed them, putting one of the vests on. They all complied with the order, fumbling with the rubber vests.
Once they got in the room, they were all silent, except for Dr. Patience. "Good morning, SCP-5007!" Dr. Patience cheerfully greeted the young-adult man in front of them. The SCP had black hair and black eyes, with strange lighting marks running down his eyes. "Morning," SCP-5007 growled through his teeth. "And it's Mario, not SCP-5007."
"Whatever you say, SCP-5007, but it's protocol!" Dr. Patience informed him, still smiling. Jon stared at Mario, feeling sympathy for the anomaly. He looks like anybody on the street. Jon thought. I'd never picture him being an anomaly.
Mario glared at Dr. Patience and then turned his attention Jon and the others. "Why did you bring so many people with you?" Mario mumbled, looking back at Dr. Patience. Dr. Patience shrugged. "They wanted to know about the new SCPs that were brought in. Don't worry, experiments won't be until later."
"Thank the Gods," Mario huffed. "Do you know when I can see Kaykrae?"
Dr. Patience winced. "You mean SCP-5005? I'm sorry, you'll have to comply with orders to know that. Both of you are giving us issues with the experiments performed on you two." Dr. Patience explained. "Anyways, we'll be heading off to see SCP-5005." Dr. Patience dipped his head, backing out of the room. Jon quickly followed him, not bothering to check if the others were behind him. Thankfully, they were, and they got out of there quickly, leaving the vests where they had got them.
"That was SCP-5007 - The Son of Zeus. I'm sure the name tells you enough about him. Next up is SCP-5005 - Snake-Woman. Don't worry, she's not venomous." Dr. Patience spoke as he walked to the next containment room.
"Want to head inside?" He asked Jon and the others. Jon vigorously shook his head no with Davis, while the others were quiet. Dr. Patience laughed, "Okay, okay. We can move on to SCP-5006 - The Son of Khione instead, but it'd take longer, so let's move on to SCP-5003!"
Dr. Patience motioned them to follow, moving down to the third door from SCP-5007's room. The sign outside it listed SCP-5003. Dr. Patience raised a hand to halt them. "Now, be aware, SCP-5003 is Euclid, but it is only because it complies with what we tell it to do. Anything apart from that is Keter features, so be very aware of where the exit is, as well as the Emergency button. Alright?" Dr. Patience informed them. They all nodded in understanding as he opened SCP-5003's containment room door.
When they entered, Jon heard a scraping noise that almost made him freeze up on the spot. Davis slowed down, pale. Jon grabbed his hand and pulled him through the door before it closed. Davis didn't say anything but just stared at the SCP. Jon turned around to look at it, almost yelping in surprise.
It's Molten? SCP-5003 is Molten? I thought Lefty killed him! Jon thought as he stared at Molten Freddy with wide eyes. Molten Freddy had his eyes locked on Jon and Davis, unmoving. "SCP-5003, otherwise known as Molten Freddy, is a Euclid-class SCP. Currently, SCP-5004 is also staying in here as well!" Dr. Patience pointed out, scanning the room. "Where are they?" Dr. Patience mumbled. Molten turned away from Jon and Davis, rolling his eyes. Two heads stuck out from behind Molten, eyes glowing. Both had rounded ears like a bear and black noses. One, who was a girl, had brown hair with black eyes and brown pupils, while the other, a boy, had red and brownish-white hair with one regular red eye and one black eye with brown pupils. Their ears twitched and swiveled.
Crystal looked as if she was going to rush towards the two, her eyes bright with... excitement? It caught Jon off guard. She didn't seem like the type to get excited easily. "Wait, there are two of them?" Cory asked. Molten shuffled his feet, the two children behind him clinging to the wired bear.
Dr. Patience smiled at Cory's question. "Yep! They're Justice and Patience- (no, I didn't name them, SCP-5000 did)- otherwise known as SCP-5004," Dr. Patience informed them, a smile playing on his lips. He turned to Molten, Justice, and Patience. "I don't want to take too much of the family's time, so we'll cut the visit short for now." Dr. Patience dipped his head to Molten and trotted off, yelling over his shoulder at the three, "Have a wonderful day!"
Cole, Crystal, and Davis stumbled after him as soon as possible, Jon and Cory following not too far behind them. "Next up we have SCP-5002, who can also be dangerous if she intends to be." Dr. Patience let out a yawn, mumbling something about a Bricky and some coffee before stopping in front of a door with a sign saying "SCP-5002." on it. Dr. Patience swiped his keycard in the scanner and the door opened.
In the room sat what looked like a large porcelain doll with red hair and green eyes. There were splits in her face that neatly sectioned off her eyes, nose, mouth, and etc. She wore a skirt, and her hair was up in pigtails. The girl was playing with a stuffed rabbit. Jon suddenly got hit with a sense of Deja Vu, like he had seen the scene before him once before this scenario. Jon didn't understand it until Davis whispered something, which also made Jon realize how close he was to the other male.
"Circus Baby."
With a jolt, Jon remembered the daughter of Afton himself. She had her eyes locked on them, unmoving, and he could tell she knew. She knew it was them. Dr. Patience opened his mouth to speak, most likely to explain who and what Baby was, but Jon tuned them out and began to whisper to Davis.
"How are both Baby and Molten here?" Jon hissed to the other male, shivering as he responded lowly, "I've got no clue. Maybe Bryan got careless, as expected."
"No, something doesn't add up," Jon mumbled, narrowing his eyes in thought. "Bryan- even if he had gotten them caught, he would've tried to get them- well, probably just Baby- back. He cares too much. So, let's ask if anybody attempted to break her out. It's only logical." Davis nodded at what Jon said. "True, I'll ask."
As they refocused on the conversation, they realized Dr. Patience was already answering questions. That's right, it's plain obvious why Baby is here, Jon remembered, flashing a look at Davis as Dr. Patience continued. "-Therefore, it's best to keep ice cream away from SCP-5002." Huh. Wonder if she told them about the incident with Elizabeth and the ice cream. "Dr. Patience?" Davis called out as Dr. Patience finished. Dr. Patience turned towards the man bearing no face, grinning. "Yes?"
"Have there been any attempts to break her out of here?" Davis asked, awaiting an answer. Dr. Patience furrowed his brows in thought. "Actually, yes. I completely forgot that incident," Oh great, Bryan's probably wanted by this corporation, then. "But all the assailants were caught. Which was, like, two people. Pretty sad, if you ask me, but they both had properties regular humans didn't have, so they were deemed SCP-5000 and SCP-5006, The Son of Aphrodite and The Son of Khione! Funny how things went-"
Baby gasped. "Wait, what? You never told me you caught and classified them!" She was wide-eyed, and Jon couldn't blame her. Who are they? Bryan's parents named are Jack and Rose, so it can't be him. Even then, what's that got to do with anything? Dr. Patience laughed. "Oh, yes, I guess I never told you. I'll show you later." Dr. Patience told her, turning towards the exit. "We should leave now. Come on!" Dr. Patience ordered. Once Cory, Crystal, and Cole had turned to follow him, Jon and Davis waved goodbye to Baby. Baby smiled softly and waved back, saying low enough for only them to hear, "Bye, guys. I'll miss you."
With that, they were moving on to the next room. They skipped over a room before heading to one labeled SCP-5000. "Wait, what about-" Cory began, halting in his tracks, but was cut off. "Don't you remember, Cory? SCP-5001 is a Keter, which means he's dangerous to those around him. We're not allowed to go in there." Crystal explained, still following Dr. Patience. Cory looked at her for a moment before following behind her.
"Question," Jon worked up the courage to ask the question, praying his gut was doing him wrong. "Yes?" Dr. Patience turned, his smile had dropped, but he wasn't frowning.
"Do SCP-5000 and SCP-5006 have other names? Apart from the ones the Foundation gave them?" Jon asked tentatively, praying for a no or something that didn't correlate to Bryan. "Why, yes they did!" Dr. Patience confirmed, grinning, "SCP-5006 was known as Jake or Jakey Films, and SCP-5000 was known as Bryan Films!"
It took all Jon's willpower to keep his jaw in place. Bryan got classified as an SCP?! The body motions from Davis told Jon that they were thinking the same thing: How is Bryan an SCP?
Jon also had other thoughts crossing his mind, ones he was sure Davis wasn't having, Jakey? The Jakey from college? Wait... How did I not realize that Bryan and Jakey had the same last names? In fact, how did I forget Bryan's last name was Bryan Heartstrings and not Bryan Films? And-
Davis nudged his shoulder. "Jon, you're spacing out. The others are heading inside. Don't make me carry you." Davis's blunt voice caught Jon off guard and he blushed furiously. "That's not needed, Davis!" He hissed through his teeth, quickly following the rest of their group.
Inside the room seemed like a living room, with a fancy couch, kitchen area, and TV. There was a hallway to their left upon entering, which led to what Jon guessed was Bryan's room. Cory let out a gasp, "How come he gets all this fancy stuff?!" The blue-eyed boy asked, his single eye wide. Dr. Patience grinned as he answered, "He cooperates with us, so he got benefits. Also, we don't want to be on his bad side."
As if on cue, they noticed movement in the kitchen area. Jon's eyes snapped towards the figure, praying that it was a coincidence that they had the same name. He was let down. Before them stood the CEO of Fazbear Entertainment himself, his red jacket seeming to be almost luminescent. His skin was pale- probably from being cooped up in this facility- and his brown hair was shiny. However, his eyes seemed different, what was going on with his pupils? Oh, and let's not forget the angel wings on his back. Yeah, those were new.
Jon, Bryan, and Davis all stared at each other, silent as Dr. Patience began. "Meet SCP-5000, The Son of Aphrodite! No, he's not an angel; Aphrodite's a goddess, not an angel. He's actually a Demigod, a.k.a. Halfblood." Jon and Davis both exchanged a glance at each other.
My best friend from College was a demigod, and he never told me? Jon thought with a pang of anger. Bryan began to avoid Jon's gaze. Were his wings drooping? Jon couldn't tell.
"Who's Aphrodite?" Cory asked. Bryan responded for Dr. Patience, "Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of beauty." Dr. Patience glared at Bryan for a moment, upset he had been interrupted. Bryan smiled innocently, tilting his head. "Now, when can I see my daughter? I'm happy you've granted me access to Patience and Justice, but I'd love to see Hope as well." Dr. Patience stiffened. "A- ah, yes, um... SCP-5008- Wielder of Ice and Love. She's a special one, that's for sure... We still need to study-"
Bryan interrupted him, his eyes now cold as his smile dropped, "I'm serious, Sir. I want my daughter, and I'm not taking no for an answer. I've waited and complied long enough."
Dr. Patience stiffened. "Whether you see her or not is not my choice to make. I'm sorry."
Jon glanced at Bryan with sympathy. Jon may not have had a family, but he remembered how fondly the brown-haired boy had spoken of his family. He'd die for them, Jon knew it.
Davis frowned and sighed. "May we speak to Bry-... SCP-5000, alone?" Davis requested. Dr. Patience shrugged, "Fine. I need to talk to these three anyways." And with that, he dragged Cory by the ear and out the door. Jon and Davis chuckled as they watched them. Cole and Crystal followed, amusement in their eyes as Cory squeaked in pain.
The moment the doors shut behind the three Jon swung around towards Bryan.
"How did you get here!? What happened?!" Jon hissed through gritted teeth. Bryan frowned. "Tried to get Baby back, ended up finding Afton and fighting him, then got stuck as a D-Class for a while. I was gonna be used to experiment on another SCP, but I accidentally got caught healing another D-Class and voila, here we are." Bryan explained in a monotone voice. To be honest, it sounded like he was mimicking somebody.
"And this daughter of yours?" Davis raised an eyebrow. Bryan sighed. "She wasn't meant to be found, but with my absence from home, the police came to pick her up and turned her in to Child Services. That never happened, however, because the moment they stepped foot in the house- this is what I've heard- she blasted them with ice and tried flying off. They tranqued her before she could, though."
Jon frowned at the man who used to be his best friend. "Why didn't you ever tell us?" Was all he could muster up now, his voice quiet and soft. The tone seemed to break Bryan as he whined, "I just wanted to hide here for a bit, then escape. If Hope hadn't gotten caught, I would've left for home with Baby and Molten."
Jon exchanges a glance with David's who had furrowed his eyebrows. "We should get you out of here, as well as get Baby and Molten—"
Bryan cut in, "and Hope, Justice, and Patience."
Davis rolled his eyes, "yes, and those three. What can we do—"
Davis was, yet again, cut off, but this time it was by a clamor from the vents. The three tensed up as the vent door seemed to rocket off from where it was latched to the wall, revealing an animatronic similar to Molten, but seemed to be a vixen. It crawled out of the vent, three human-like beings in its wires. Bryan gasped and wailed. "My babies!"
Jon blinked and looked at the children entangled in the robot. Two were SCP-5004, Justice and Patience, which told Jon that the brown-and-blue haired girl with white wings was Bryan's daughter, Hope. Jon didn't have time to process what had said when the animatronic opened its jaws and lunged towards him...
