Then again, I wanted to confirm once again so I opened and confirmed my suspicion

Mythical Tales : The world of Mythical and Mythological Korea.

Yep. Its still the same book. Its at the library I always go to so it shouldn't be a hassle getting it.

I headed back to the couch. Jimin had gotten off the phone and was busy conversing with Yeonjun.

"Are you very sure Minnie hyung? What if he-" Yeonjun said, scratching his nape.

Jimin patted his back assuringly and said, "A hundred percent. It will be fine."

"What are you guys talking about?" I asked, seating myself next to Jimin.

"Oh, Hyung..ummm...I-I a-am g-g-onna..umm..do m-my..umm..l-laundry?", Yeonjun squeaked, fidgeting constantly. He quickly got up and ran up to his room and closed the door.

"What was that about?" I asked, still perplexed and baffled at what just happened.

"Oh nothing." Jimin waved his hands in the air. I didn't pry into the topic. I just decided to ask Yeonjun about it later. If he let me that is

"So...." I started to catch Jimin's attention. It worked and he looked at me. "You got the reference books and the topic?"

"Yea.." Jimin looked distracted.

"Hey..." I grabbed his wrists and used my other hand to cup his face so that he faces me.

"What's wrong? Why do you seem so distracted?" I asked him softly. I didn't understand this but there was something going on.

"Nothing." He pushed my hands down and put an assuring smile. "Anyways, how's the bet coming up so far?",he asked reaching for the remote.

"Which bet?"

"Oh you know, the one about 'Kim Jisoo the schools sweetest and one of the most popular girls will fall for you.' That one."

"Oh..right.."

"Yea..so how is it going?"

"Fine I guess..." I mumbled. I knew very well that she wouldn't fall for me.

"Oh c'mon. I know you like her." Jimin teased with a smirk. At that very instant my face started feeling warmer.

"What!!? No!!!" I said, frantically waving my hands as though that could remove that thought from his head.

"Remember, there was no rule about you falling in love with her." He winked and wiggled his eyebrows teasingly. I swear I wanted to beat the wiggly eyebrows out of him!! So I did. I hit his arm until he said, "Ok ok fine. You don't like her. Yet."

"Anyways..". Jimin said, causing me to turn my attention to him and not on my warm face, "You do know that sometimes two students get the same book, right?"

"Yeah. So?"

"What if you end up sharing the book with Kim Jisoo???"
My face reddened at the thought of it.

"So?" I asked nonchalantly, as if it didn't bother me at all.

"Imagine, both of you. Sitting together. Completing the project until late night. Her beautiful face gracing your vision and her smile lighting your room a-"
I threw a cushion at him.

"Dude stop!" I said, completely embarrassed at the scenario he had imagined in his head.

"Fine, but remember me when my prediction comes true."

" Yeah yeah. Whatever." I rolled my eyes and focused on the television screen.

The TV displayed the most cliché yet most romantic historical k-drama I had ever seen.

Even though I don't really know how it happened but I imagined myself as the male lead and her as the female lead.
The story was nice to be honest.
Started out as childhood friends. Then later on they became closer, but unexpectedly they were distanced. They completely forgot about eachother. Both of them found another person who they fell in love with. Both of them got their heartbroken. Now they are just there, trying to live their lives but it's intertwined with the others. So now no matter what, they find themselves completing eachother's stories.

Cliché, weird but I liked it.

*Ding!*

"Taehyung-ah" Jimin nudged my shoulder, " Hoseok hyung said to come back home. I have to go."

"Stay for just 5 minutes...please??????" I asked, giving him the puppy dog eyes.

"I will come after a while." He squeezed my hand gently and then ruffled my hair. He picked up his bag and was going to leave when he turned around and said,
"Don't you even think about it. Yeonjun is already very jumpy. You might scare him off even more. And I won't help you with it again." He threatened me with stern eyes.

"I would never scare him off on purpose." I said, extremely offended. I wasn't trying to scare my cousin, he was just small and jumpy.

"Promise me."

"Promise." I gave him a smile. I promised him. I promised I wouldn't talk to my cousin that I loved very much because said cousin was jumpy and was scared of me.

"Bye then."

"Bye"

Jimin's POV

All the way back home I only wondered one thing..
"Should I tell him??"
