Maid: your father and your mother are waiting at the dining table
Jisoo: both of them?
Maid: yes
Jisoo: *kiss the maid as she usually do it, before running aggressively to their kitchen. Her eyes met with both of her parents and she can't help but smile widely seeing both of them waiting for her. She tried to hold back her tears since she know her father hates someone crying
Mr Kim: you have arrived. Take a seat in front of your mother.
Jisoo: it's good to see both of you...together
Mrs Kim: same here Jisoo, so how's your group have been doing?
Jisoo: good mother *she tear up a little upon hearing her mother asking for her wellbeing
Mr Kim: You did a good job out there
Jisoo: *smiling widely. Sorry mother, father but can I go to the toilet for a minute?
Mrs Kim: yeah sure
Mr Kim: we will eat while waiting for you
Jisoo: alright, I will be right back
She turned her back to her parents and that's when her tears started to fall down. It poured down heavily and she have to hold her mouth from making any sound.
She finally in the toilet, she cried hardly as she recalled what her mon and dad asked her, after a long time they finally asked her wellbeing. She started to sob and having difficulty in breathing as she cried too hard. She looked at her clock and it's have been 2 minutes, she can't let her parents waited too long for her. She hold herself and try to prevent herself from crying anymore. She washed her face and came out looking as usual.
She run to the dining table and quietly take her place and eat. She eat too much that her mother even asked her did she starved herself last night. After all of them finished eating, her father start the conversation.
Mr Kim: there is a reason why I call you today
Jisoo: hm? *while chewing her last fruits
Mr Kim: i need you to marry DST Corp's son.
Jisoo: wha-what?
Mr Kim: i know you will not simply agree on this but please we need you to marry their son. Our company need to joint with them. They have technicals and machines that we could use for our upcoming products and that wil strengthen our relationship more. Their son recently ask about you and we are so happy hearing of that-
Jisoo: how can you said that after 2 years you don't even asked anything about me?
Mrs Kim: we know! We are so sorry! But if you marry to him, we promise we will ask about you more often
Mr kim: you are our only hope love.
