CHAP 11: Bye Dad

Jennie take the flight and went to her parents who are in Australia. Once she arrived she went to her dad's office and found her dad on the phone facing his back towards her. She can see his back that she once ride when she was still young from the glass room. She became teary remembering those days before her parents involved in their families business, when her parents only talked about her but now they don't even seem to remember her birthday because all they care about is the company. She know that all this while their secretaries is the one remind them her birthday and it is also their secretaries who sent those gifts. She try to knock but her father seem too immersed in the conversation so she decided to get into and wait for him to finish the phone call

Mr Kim: no mister president. Believe me! This news will gather public attention and they will never knew about our conflict. We know how industries worked now. Entertainment industries are playing a big influence nowadays and people for sure interested in that more. I already asked Dispatch to release the news when times comes and they have my consent so they should not asked their management anymore. But they still need to ask SMEnt for their consent and also no worries on that. We already settle it-

Jennie: *ran out from her father office

Mr Kim: *startled when he saw Jennie running out from his office. Mr President, I'm so sorry but I will call you later, I got an emergency.
He ran out while calling for Jennie and asked the security to hold Jennie. The securities managed to hold Jennie and bring her to his office.

Mr Kim: what did you hear?

Jennie: everything? I guess *laughing

Mr Kim: that's not true and it's not about you. *he remembered that he did not said any names, everytime he talked to president they will not mention any names but will said codes instead

Jennie: stop.....just stop...at least explain to me

Mr Kim: I have nothing to explain, it's not your business so I have nothing to tell you. Besides, it is confidential

Jennie: right! I hope it is not about me or my friends. If you touch any of my friends again, you know what I will do

Mr Kim: it's not about your friends either

Jennie: alright then,  i should go if it's nothing about us

Mr kim: i will sent you with out private jet

Jennie: okay, thanks- dad

Mr Kim: wait- what is the reason you are here?

Jennie: I-I was- I was shopping here so I thought I should stop over for a visit

Mr Kim: you don't need too. You know how busy am I and every minutes is precious. You have just disrupted my president's phone call just now-

Jennie: i'm sorry! Can i go now? I should back now for my next schedules

Me Kim: sure, so do you still want a private jets? Since you are shopping here so your hotel must be nearby

Jennie: uh yeah, i dont need too

Mr Kim: alright then, see you later

Jennie: b-bye dad

Jennie bought the flight ticket. She cried heavily thinking about her dad's lie. She had to give up on her relationship, she can't bring up her aim coming there to her dad after hearing how all of that was her dad idea and her dad strongly involve in this.
How broken her heart is when her dad only care to swift the public attention rather than considering her feeling, rather than asking her whether she is okay with all of this (at least) and the most breaking part is her dad knew about her relationship with Kai but don't simply ask anything like any others dad will said *Did he  treat you right?* *Did he really love you* *Tell me if he ever done anything wrong* and with that she burst more into tears. With her mask and cap, she had troubled with wiping her tears so she just simply let it flow.
