"Anthony," Stephen said and the kids darted out the room leaving him to explain the mess. "It's your birthday and I wanted to do something special...I was going to take you out to the first place we went on a date but with this...virus going around and us staying home..." Stephen trailed off. I walked over and swiped some cake batter off his cheek.
"You don't have to do anything for me, Stephy," I said softly and he smiled.

"Well you are covered in cake batter and the way the kids ran out of here makes me think they somehow caused this," I said chuckling.
"Dr. Dad, I think I go-" Peter froze.

"Morgan did it," Peter said quickly making me snort.
