The academy classroom was buzzing with the sounds of children chattering. Ahsoka scanned the room for the loud boy from yesterday, Obito, but she couldn't find the goggle wearing kid anywhere. She walked up to her desk and sat down with a pout.

'Where the hell is he?' she leaned her head on her hand with a heavy sigh.

"Hey, Ahsoka?" Ahsoka turned to her right to see the brunette with the purple markings that sat across the aisle yesterday standing right next to her desk, making Ahsoka instinctually recoil.

She gulped, seeing as putting physical distance between them wasn't seen as socially acceptable, Ahsoka forced out a weak, "Uh... hi."

Somehow managing to stay in her seat, her gaze shifted between looking at the girl in the eyes and looking down at her own fidgeting hands.

"We didn't get to talk much yesterday so I thought now would be a good time to introduce myself!" The girl gave her a closed eye smiled. She seemed so cheerful yet calm. Strangely enough,  Ahsoka felt the same sensation as that of a breeze on a sunny summer's day.

"I'm Rin Nohara." The girl said.

Ahsoka nervously glanced left, right, and all around for a way to get out of this situation but it seemed like class hadn't started yet and Obito still hadn't arrived.

'Damn it!' she clenched her teeth, 'I really don't want to deal with her right now, I just have to find Obito and apologize and try to be friendlier and open and....'

Ahsoka sighed composing herself, this is exactly what Lord Third had been talking about just yesterday at the top of the Hokage monument. He obviously didn't mean be open to just Obito and Hiroshi, he gave her a whole ass speech about how the whole village was his family for crying out loud!

So she turned to Rin and gave her what she hoped was a warm smile, "N-nice to meet you Rin, I'm Ahsoka."

Rin giggled, "I know that, silly."

Ahsoka ducked her head and blushed furiously but chuckled at her slip up, 'Of course she knew my name, she just said it when she said hey. Idiot.'

"I'm so glad we can talk! I tried to find you at lunch but you weren't around. Then during practice you were so cool! You have to give me some pointers some time." Rin clapped her hands together, sending Ahsoka a one eyed smile with one big brown eye twinkling.

Ahsoka giggled genuinely for the first time in a while. She might actually like this Rin girl.

"I'm sure I can help you out." Ahsoka answered, eyes soft. And that was when the loud, goggle wearing Uchiha burst through the door.

"I'm not late! I'm not late!" Obito skidded to a stop, looking like he had just ran all the way from Kumo. He immediately stopped shouting when he saw all eyes were on him.

"Obito, you could have missed the bell!" Rin huffed and crossed her arms but a playful twitch dared play on her lips. Obito rubbed the back of his head sheepishly with a small blush coloring his usual pale cheeks.

'There he is,' Ahsoka thought, 'This is my chance to apologize! I'll be brief and I will- '

Then Obito's eyes landed on her. "YOU!" He suddenly screeched, pointing an accusatory finger at Ahsoka.

"ME?!" She yelped

"HER?" Rin squawked in confusion

He stormed up the aisle and slammed his palms on the desk. "Who the hell do you think you are HUH?! Punching me in the gut and then running away! Who the hell does that!?" He glared down at the Aoyama, his face in full Uchiha anger mode, though it looked more like a glorified pout.
