chap 41

trinity's POV

 i was sitting on the balcony about to start on some homework. i like doing my homework on the balcony because it's so peaceful.

unfortunately my peace and quite was disturbed by Tory, who thought now would be a nice time to come and annoy me.

Tory's POV

 i watched as trinity did her homework on the balcony and decided it was a good time to make myself a nuisance.

"hey kiddo" i teased ruffling her hair

"for the last time Tory, you're only a month older than me"

"YOU are 16 going on 17" i began to sing, i've been singing this song non-stop since my 17th birthday

"baby its time to thiiiinnk" i continued singing "better beware, be canning and careful, baby your on the brink"                                                                                               

 "You are 16 going on 17 "

"Fellows will fall in line

Eager young lads

And grue ways and cads 

Will offer you fruit and wine" trinity just rolled her eye's at my immaturity but i shot her  one of my signature smirks and she couldn't help but smile

I am 17 going on 18 

I'll take care of yooouuu"

"are you finished now" she asked trying to keep a straight face

"yes" i said with a cheeky smile

"for the record, you might be older but there's no way in hell your wiser than me" she said referring to the song

"yea, your properly right"

"I'm always right" she said in a duh voice "now go away and let me do my homework"

i half got off my chair than at the last second i turned around and scooped her up, bridal style in my arms.

she clung to me for dear life as i spun her around

"TORY, PUT ME DOWN" she half squealed / laughed

"NEVER" I yelled back and started running

"my teacher was right you are a bad influence on me" she said teasingly, but even though she only meant it as a joke something hit hard

trinity tells me everything, all her secrets and hopes. one thing that's really important to her is that she does well in her HSC and is able to graduate.

i know it sounds stupid, but the reason she really wants to do well is so that she can somehow make her parents and grandma proud and to not let all there hard work go to waste. i don't want to ruin that for her because i know how much it means to her.

i quickly put her down and ordered her to go finish her homework. she just rolled  her eyes at me and was off.

'what am i thinking' i whispered to myself, i shouldn't take jacob's advice. this is stupid, me and trinity are never gonna happen, were just friends and that's all it'll ever be.

still a little part of my brain kept reminding me that there is only a year left till school finish's, but no me and T are never gonna happen not even after school finish's. the timing is just not right and it might never will.............................but still everthing happens for a reason
