"No way..Lucy how could you?"A salmon haired guy asks in disbelief as he looks at Lucy..She quivered,"I-I didn't do anything wrong!"

"W-Why did you hurt Lissana?I can't believe you can hurt your nakama!Lucy why?!"

"No!!I didn't!Natsu believe me!Erza, Wendy..Gray!!Why won't anyone believe me?!"

"I didn't do it!!!"Lucy yells as she shots up from her bed..Panting and sweating..She grips her chest tightly as tears started forming in the corner of her chocolate brown eyes..

"I..I didn't.."She whispered sobbing, hugging her knees,"I knew I shouldn't have given them my trust.."

"Now look!!"She cries once more tightening her grip on her arms that it started to bleed slightly..

Drop

"Even if I saw them die with my own eyes..Even if I saw them as their hair turns gray and their face crinkles.."

Why can I still see those disappointed stares?!The voices!Why can I still hear them?!"

"Hime-sama!!"

Virgo suddenly appears and yanks Lucy's now bleeding arm..Claw marks evident..

"Dammit Brat!I told you to not do this again!!"Aquarius yelled in a broken voice as she holds Lucy's shoulders,"You promised me!"She stated as her tears drop on Lucy's pale face..

"Listen to me..They're already dead..They were buried..They are already in their graves resting in peace.."

'Why..?Why can I hear nothing but them?'

"Disgrace.."

"Insolent"

"traitor.."

"Backstabber.."

"Yo blondie!"

Lucy winces as she sees a familiar friend..She gave a smile, her eyes closed..Sasori noticed her strained smile but shakes it off, fully knowing she won't answer him anyways..But it didn't mean he won't pry it later..

"I heard you helped the Explosion brat get the special clay, why did you?Because of it, my plan failed!"Sasori stated huffing..She chuckles,"Sorry sorry..Deidara was polite about it so I couldn't say no..You know how being polite isn't his thing.."

"You have a point..The brat banters with Kakuzo and he swears around us.."

"Aww insulted old fart?"

"Shut up!I am not OLD!And I am certainly not a nitrogen based gas!"

"Whatever nerd.."

"Thank you for the compliment!I know I'm smart.."Sasori sassed and it made Lucy genuinely laugh as a real smile spread across her face..The red head chuckled..

'At least I got her to smile like a real person..Small steps I guess..'

"Who are you participating with in the Fifth Holy Grail War?"She asks resting her head on her right palm..Sasori shrugged,"Not gonna enter..It's too troublesome.."

"You sound like Shikaku-san,scratch that..The Nara's.."Lucy pointed out pouting..He rolls his eyes,"Didn't your mother tell you not to make negative comparisons.."

"Nope..Mama and Papa left me when I was 2 remember?"

"Aish..Sorry for bringing the topic up..I didn't mean to, Lucy.."Sasori apologized scratching his head..She only nods..

"Despite that though..It makes me think you're better off without them.."

Lucy's eyes widen slightly,'Why..Didn't I tell him what happen--'

"Because if they were with you, maybe we wouldn't meet..Maybe..Your future would be different where we aren't in it.."

This caused Lucy to go silent..There was a fuzzy feeling that surged through her body..Tears streamed down her face as Sasori panicked..

"Shit!Don't cry!I-I didn't--"

"Thanks Sasori-kun.."

'Maybe he's right..Maybe I should be thankful for what happened..Maybe I shouldn't worry so much..'
