He is promised that even if he fails to win the Grail war but is able to make sure Irisviel remains alive with Kiritsugu then he can still become human and live a human life.

After ten years the 5th Grail War has started. Jean Tohsaka, the daughter of Aoi and Tokiomi, travels back to Fuyuki City to help her sister. Simply put Fate Grand Order, reacting to the Hero of Justice, Shirou Emiya. This Shirou Emiya will be based on the UBW timeline, but instead of trading his soul to the Counter Force, he instead makes a deal that allows him to live through all of his alternate selves, and if he reaches a happy ending in these routes, Alaya would grant him the knowledge he sought without selling his soul. That being said, the Shirou that will be brought in will be much stronger and more experienced. Basically a Shirou, if everything went right in his Lives.

This actually is a mix of three different shirous hes a mix of heavens field, ubw, oath under snow. Now by a mix I mean different ubw types he going to have archers arm because the blade draw back it has is good for story telling how ever at some point he going to reach ubw simply because heavens feel didn't have it. Now where does oath under snow come in? The archer card outfit, that's it. I think that covers it all.
