48. Baby's First Steps

Sophie has just turned one and we are having a party for her next week. Can't wait and can't believe our baby girl is now a year old. Me and Shawn can't wait to have more children in the future. Sophie means the word to us. Shawn got back from the studio not so long ago and we are having sons family time together like we do every evening. We have just had dinner too. Sophie is sat on the couch in the middle of us both. "Hey, baby girl. You're so beautiful just like your momma" Shawn said. "Awww, Shawnie. We have the best baby girl in the world" I say. "We do indeed, my love" he smiles. Sophie gets off the couch as she wanted to move around a bit. We think she could take her first steps soon. She's been giving us hints since her birthday. Sophie looks at us and holds onto the couch and pulls herself up onto her feet. "She's standing up" I say. "She is. Wow! Soph, that's my girl" Shawn said. "That's our girl" I say. Sophie moves her feet a little and take a couple of little steps. She let's go of the couch and walks to Shawn. "Oh my gosh. You just took your first steps, my darling" Shawn said. He picks her up and kisses her. "You just walked, my love" he said. "She did and she's only just 12 months old" I say. "So proud of you, baby girl" he said. We are so proud of Sophie taking her first steps today

Harvey 💙

Our little man is a year old next week and we can't wait to celebrate Aiden's birthday. Harvey and I have been parents for almost a year and it's such a big deal to us. We are over at Harvey's parents house having a nice Sunday with them. His brother Ollie and Elliott are there as well. Aiden loves hanging out with his uncles. We are in the living room hanging out with Harvey's family. Aiden is crawling and shuffling around. "I can't wait till the day I can take him out drinking" Ollie said. "Nah, bro. You ain't doing that till he's 18 and I'll be taking him out for his first drink. Thank you very much" Harvey said. "Alright" Ollie said. "Maybe you'll have your own son by then" Harvey said. Aiden continues to play around and watch everyone. He grabs ahold of a small coffee table and pulls himself up onto his feet. "Look. He's standing up. My boy is standing up" Harvey exclaims. "Aiden, you're such a clever boy. Nana is so proud of you" Nicky said. "He's gonna take his first steps" Elliott said. Aiden lets go of the table and takes a couple of steps to me and Harvey. "Yay! You're first steps, sweetheart" I say. "I'm so proud of you, son. Daddy loves you" Harvey said. "Amazing" Leigh said. We were all so proud they Aiden took his first steps today and we are so happy it happened at Harvey's parents house too

Niall 💚

Cian, Cillian and Cora are now a year old. It was their birthday a few weeks ago and it was an amazing day. We are celebrating more with a big party though soon. Cora took her first steps recently the other day but the boys are yet to. There is still time. Babies don't walk as soon as they turn a year old. I am going back to work soon even though I don't want to. I wanna spend all my time with my babies. We are getting ready to go out for dinner with my sister and her boyfriend. It's always hectic getting three one year olds ready but me and Niall managed between us. We are in the babies room getting them ready for going out soon. Niall has just changed Cora and dressed her. I'm getting Cian ready. Niall will get Cillian ready in the next few minutes. We turn our backs and then turn back around and Cillian has stood up and is walking around. "Ah, babe. Look he is walking. OMG I can't believe it" Niall said. "He's walking. Wow! He did it all by himself" I reply. "So amazing, Cillian. Mummy and I can't believe you are walking" Niall said picking him up. "Two of them are walking, Ni" I said. "I know. Just Cian young man now" he replies. So proud of Cillian walking today. We had something to tell my sister and her boyfriend and they were proud too

Ruel 💜

Georgie is now a year old. It was his birthday the other week and we all can't believe where the last year has gone. Loosing our virginity that night was the best decision that Ruel and I have ever made together as it lead to me getting pregnant with our little boy and he's changed our lives forever and ever. George is almost at the walking stage we think. George has been at nursery today as I've been at school and Ruel has been working so he goes to goes to nursery a couple of days a week. Sometime Kate and Ralph look after him. Ruel and I are on our way to nursery to pick up George now. Can't wait to see him and spend the evening with him. We miss him when we are away from him. "Wonder what our boys been up to at nursery today?" Ruel said. "I know. I wonder too. We'll find out soon" I reply. We arrive at nursery and park up outside. We go into together holding hands. One of the ladies Nicola, who works at the nursery is waiting outside for us. "Hey, guys" she said. "Hi, Nicola" I said. "Hey" Ruel said. "I have something to share with you" she said. "Oh okay" I reply. "Little George took his first steps earlier" Nicola said. "Ohhh did he. Awww such a shame we missed it" Ruel said. "Don't worry. I videoed it for you as I knew you wouldn't want to miss it" she said. Nicola showed us the video of George taking his first steps earlier. "Awwww so cute. I can't believe we missed it, babe. I would've loved to witness my sons first steps" Ruel said. "I know but he might do it when we get home" I reply. We take George home and later on he takes a few lure steps around the kitchen. We didn't really miss it as he did it in front of you. So proud of our boy
